Tag, You're it!
The next challenge we have for you at Crafty Gals Corner is to create or use a tag on your project.
I decided to use the sweet Baby Elephant image from Twinkle Lane designs for my project. I created a tag, but I wanted a fun shape so used a large Spellbinders die for a base. It just so happens that one of my co-workers is expecting, so this was a good opportunity to get ahead!
You have a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors by playing along. Click the badges below to check out their shops and give them some love.

Little Darling
This week at Crafty Sentiments we are celebrating new beginnings. It may be a new baby, a new home, a new job...maybe even a new you!
I used Charles - Baby Dragon for my project. He was colored using Copic markers. I kept the color palette neutral because I am not sure who will be the recipient! I don't know anyone that is having a baby right now. I am sure I will need it in the future though.
You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along with us, even if you didn't use a Crafty Sentiments product. If you did, you have a chance to win in a drawing just for projects using a Crafty Sentiments image or stamp. Will you be crowned Crafty Sentiments Favorite?!

Oh Baby!
This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is Celebrations. What will you be celebrating in the coming year?
I used Baby Oh Baby from Sparkle n Sprinkle for my card. What a sweet image! I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo. I paired it with papers and elements from the It's a Boy collection from Carta Bella available digitally from Snap Click Supply. The papers are good for neutral baby cards even though it is called It's a Boy.
You have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to be used on the Sparkle n Sprinkle website. Click the badge below to check out everything available.

Welcome Baby!
Hello everyone! It is an exciting time at Sami Stamps! Sami has welcomed a new member into her family! There is no new release while Sami gets to know her sweet little addition, so we are all using baby themed images from the shop. The challenge this month is to use a sentiment.
I chose Looking at My Sweet for my project. So precious! I colored the image using Copic markers and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. I wanted mother and child to be the center of attention, so I did a larger image with minimal embellishments.
Since the theme this month is to add a sentiment, it is so super easy to play along! Just be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible to win a prize.

Twinkle Twinkle
Hello everyone! Today brings the new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner. This week the challenge is lots of layers. Read on for more information about our blog hop as well! There are special instructions to follow this week to be eligible for a prize.
I used the adorable Gello Giraffe Starry Night from Kitty Bee Designs for this project. He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette. The sentiment is also a Silhouette cut file that was printed instead of cut. The papers are all from the Carta Bella It's a Boy collection that is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.
We are also having a blog hop to welcome all of our new design team members. You should have arrived here from Lena's blog. If you didn't and would like to participate in the hop, pop back over to the Crafty Gals Corner blog to start from the beginning. Each of the ladies on the design team has a letter hidden in their blog post. Collect all of the letters and then leave a comment with the secret word in a comment on the blog! To be eligible to win a sponsor prize this week, you must comment on EACH blog as you collect the letters. My secret letter is A. The next stop on your hop will be Samantha. I know she has something gorgeous for you to drool over!
We have two generous sponsors for our challenge this week. Clicking the badges below will take you to the shop to have a look around.
Have fun hopping and good luck!

New Beginnings V2.0
I wanted to get a card in for Mo's current challenge and how funny that the theme is new beginnings as well! I found Maurie Manning's images a long time ago and Sumpin's Wrong was one of the first ones I bought. I finally feel like I can do it justice. =)
I have had this card idea rolling around for a while, but it still took me forever to put it all together! The little bits always seem to trip me up. The stamp is colored with Copic's and I paper pieced the shirt. I had this idea in my head that I wanted his shirt to be tan plaid. Couldn't exactly tell you why though. With all of the paper I own, can you believe I did not have the right color?! I went in search online and found this gorgeous tan plaid digital paper on Granny Enchanted. There are a lot of wonderful kits and freebies! If you love paper, this is definitely the place for you! The great thing about the digital paper is I could reduce the size of the plaid to fit the scale of the shirt and then use a larger version for the background paper!
Now I just have to wait for someone to have a little boy so I can give them this card. =)

New Beginnings
The Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is New Beginnings. I couldn't come up with an idea, and then it struck me out of the blue this afternoon! I am skidding in by the seat of my pants, but better late than never!
I used this adorable stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller called Bear Hugs. It is a Valentine's Day stamp so I just wasn't thinking of it as a stamp for a baby card. I think it work perfectly! I kept the colors neutral because at the moment I don't know anyone having a baby. =P
I am going to link this up for the Krafty Guest challenge too. You can never have too many entries...right?!

Do a Little Doodling
Do you love to doodle? Then the challenge this week is perfect for you. The challenge is to doodle on your project.
I decided that doodling a blanket stitch and making the background look like a cozy baby blanket would be perfect for this image! I colored Sweet Dreams Moon with Copics. I didn't have a die that fit the image, so I used a smaller one and let it just peek out of the top edge of the image. I also doodled on the yellow border.

Seeing Spots!
If you venture over to the Meljen's Designs blog today, chances are you will be Seeing spots! Your challenge should you choose to accept it is to use dots on your project. Don't forget! You must use a Meljen's Designs image in order to play along.
I used the image Little Baby Dragon and paper pieced him with some cute polka dot paper. I used Copics to give his diaper a little shading. I wasn't thinking and used plain white paper to piece his diaper on. That was almost a nightmare in the making! The Copics wanted to bleed really badly. And that was after I had pieced all of those little bits! Luckily, I realized what was happening before it got out of hand. Definitely need to think that through next time.
I embossed the background with, you guessed it, dots! I added a little eyelet lace and twine and called it done.

Guest Designer part 2
Welcome back for day 2 of my Guest Designer Spotlight at Meljen's Designs. This is the project I have for you this week.
When I saw the image Stuffed Elephant, I thought it would be adorable paper pieced for a baby card. I couldn't decide if it should be a card for a boy or a girl so I made both. I used the Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy and Girl paper pads from K&Company. The lace trim was white, but I used dye ink pads to color it. I wiped the ink pad on my non-stick craft sheet and misted it with some water. I laid the lace trim in the ink and patted it with a paper towel. I like the uneven color I got using this method. I even dusted off my sewing machine and added some stiching on all of the layers.

Feeling Dotty!
The challenge this week at Meljen's Design is to use dots on your project. I knew I wanted to use the image Raggy Puppy because I thought he would look adorable paper pieced with dots! You can find him at the Whimsy Stamps website.
I embossed the white strip using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots folder. I used the Teeny Swiss Dot from DeNami Design to stamp the background. A lace bow and baby charm finish off the card. A simple card, I know, but my mojo has taken a walk this evening.
The challenge at Wee Memories this week is Cute and Cuddly so I am entering my card there as well.
