I created this card using one of the images from the recent Meljen's Designs release. I just love the mice! I think they are absolutely adorable!
Little Miss Heart Mouse is available in the shop now. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I used a mix of buttons to create the border and dressed up my bow with another button and some twine.
Stay tuned to the blog and the shop for the new release coming on Friday! The blog has some sneak peeks happening this week. I know you won't want to miss it!!

Sketch Challenge & Going Buggy
It's time for a sketch challenge at DeNami Design. The very talented Paulina came up with this sketch for us to play with.
I flipped the sketch around a little.
I used one of the flowers from the Ornamental Flowers set and I used Fancy Butterfly. Fancy Butterfly is an older stamp, but I find myself pulling it out again and again. I heat embossed the butterfly in gold and cut it out. I replaced the stamped antennae with wire. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!. I need to invest in some more DeNami Design sentiments. I love the font, but there are always so many other stamps that I want that I can't seem to get the sentiments into my cart!
The challenge at Going Buggy this month is to use lace and butterflies. I am entering this card in that challenge as well.

Kitty Love
I was pressed for time this week, so I was really happy to have a few of the newly released pre-colored digis from Meljen's Designs. They are colored so beautifully and they print really well.
I used the pre-colored Kitty Love stamp. You can find other pre-colored designs in the shop.

Cute Chickies Blog Hop
Welcome to the next stop on the Chickies blog hop. You should have hopped here from Andrea's blog. I am sure she had something amazing for you to look at! If you didn't come from Andrea's blog and you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, just pop over to the DeNami Design blog.
If you are like me, as soon as you saw the chickie stamps from DeNami Design you fell in love! My collection of chickie stamps just keeps growing! I started out trying to make a CAS card, but I just never seem to be able to manage it. Here is my project for this hop.
I cut a window in the card using a scalloped circle die. I cut the frame for the window using the same scalloped circle die and a slightly larger one. I stamped the Chickie in Balloon and colored it with Copics. I cut it out and popped it up in the window using a bit of foam.
Don't forget to leave a comment because every comment gives you a chance to win one of two $20 gift certificates. You have until 11:59 PST on Monday, February 13th to leave a comment on all of the blogs. The winners will be chosen randomly from all of the comments. In addition, one $20 gift certificate will be given to a random participant (design team not eligible).
It's time for you to hop on over to Suzanne's blog. I will bet she has something wonderful in store for you!

Pretty Pastels
This week's challenge for Meljen's Designs is to use pastel colors.
I used the pre-colored Love Dove from this month's new release. I printed the sentiment on my computer. Using the pre-colored image, a background stamp, and embossing made this project come together really quickly. Visit the shop to see more pre-colored images and the rest of the new release for this month.
To participate in the challenge, you must use a Meljen's Designs image. Projects that do not use a Meljen's Designs image will be deleted before the random drawing. See the new challenge rules here.

Feeling Sketchy!
The challenge at Pike's Playground is to use the sketch provided.
This is my version of the sketch.
I stayed pretty true to the sketch which is pretty unusual for me. I colored the image using Prismacolor pencils blended with baby oil.

Meljen's New Release Day!
It is new release day at Meljen's Designs! Releases will happen monthly now instead of weekly. This month you get 15 images to choose from. Eight of the new releases are pre-colored previously released digis. The other 7 are brand new! You can find them in the shop today!
Aren't they great?! I haven't tried the pre-colored digis before, so I had to give it a try and they are so much fun to use! They are a great option for when you want to make a project but just don't feel like coloring yourself!
I used the pre-colored Loving Ewe image. I used a piece of Core'dinations cardstock as the background. It is one of the Whitewashed collection. I also used the I Love Ewe sentiment.
Card measures 4" in diameter
