Whole Latte Love

I don't know about you, but I love coffee!  If it weren't for coffee, no one would speak to me in the morning!  This week at Crafty Gals Corner we have an anything goes with any Crafty Gals Corner sponsor so I reached for a coffee image.

I have had Ava Latte from Bugaboo for ages and I thought this was the perfect chance to use her.  I colored Ava with Copic markers, but I pieced the coffee mug.  The paper for the mug and the background are from the Coffee Talk collection at Nitwit Collections.  The sentiment stamp is from Endless Creations & Everyday Cards.  They came to the stamp convention that was held every year where I used to live.  I loved their booth!

Since we do not have a specific sponsor this week, the prize is to be determined.  But Samantha will come up with something wonderful I am sure!

I hope you will come play along!

Sending Smiles

This week at Crafty Sentiments Designs our challenge is to add glitter.  I have a love hat relationship with glitter.  I love the sparkle but I had the mess and finding glitter on my face weeks after I have used it.  I try to use papers that have glitter encapsulated so it won't flake off.  Unfortunately...the paper I used today was not that kind!  But it fit my project so well that I decided to use it anyway!

This is Special Delivery.  He was colored using Copic markers and I pieced the balloons using some fun matching patterned paper.  I fussy cut him and popped him up for some dimension.  The sentiment is from DeNami Design and is one of my favorites to use.  You can see the glitter on the paper and I also used some silver Wink of Stella on his buttons, bag hardware, and the band on his hat.  Last but not least, I cut the legs off of a glitter heart brad and added it to the sentiment.  Whew!  That's enough glitter for me!

As always, you have the chance to win some Crafty Sentiments digital stamps for playing along.  The prizes are listed below.  If you use a Crafty Sentiments image, you can win even more!

Dig out that glitter and play along.  Just be prepared to find it again weeks from now!  If you will excuse me, I think I see some glitter I need to clean up!

Fairy Columbina

It is time for a little MoonFlower inspiration today.  The team is using the new release Fairy Columbina.  You can pop over to the MoonFlower blog and see all of the projects using her.  It is amazing how different they all are.

Andreia has done it again!  This digi is so gorgeous!  She was certainly a fun challenge to color and it took me a while to decide on a color combo.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  Her wings have clear Wink of Stella and are so shimmery and sparkly in real life.

You can find Fairy Columbina in the shop and while you are there check out the rest of the gorgeousness on offer!  Andreia has so many wonderful images in the shop.

Until next time!

This is Tara.  Isn't she adorable?  You can find her in the shop here.  She was colored with Copic markers.  I combined some Spellbinders dies to build up a frame for her.  I hope you like her sweet little face as much as I do!

'Tis the Season

Wow!  Another Thursday and this one is Thanksgiving!  I cannot believe how this year has flown by, especially since going back to work!  Our challenge at Creative Knockouts for you this week is 'Tis the Season.  Make a seasonal project to enter the challenge.  I decided to go with the holiday season and made a Christmas card.

I don't know about you but I love non-traditional Christmas colors.  Especially this color combo and I had the perfect paper pad from DCWV to do it!  It is even called 'Tis the Season!  I love the embossed touches with glitter in this stack.  I colored Maizy Elf from Digital Delights with Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette to pop her on my card.

Digital Delights is our sponsor this week and there are so many adorable images in the shop.  Click the badge below to check them out.

It Comes in Threes...

You know what they say...things always come in threes...sneezes, bad news, etc.  Here at Crafty Gals Corner this week, something on your project needs to come in threes in our Three of a Kind challenge.

This week I used Bella with Rose from Conie Fong.  I used three pearls and three flowers.  I actually have a group of three pearls mixed in with the flowers, but the angle of this picture makes it hard to see.  Bella was colored with Copic markers.

We have two fabulous sponsors for you this challenge.  You can click the badges below to check out what is available in each shop.

See!  Told you so!  You are a puddle of goo right now aren't you!

I chose Fall Skunk 3 to work with.  I just love how he is peeking around the acorn!  And what an acorn it is!  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.

Don't forget we still have the challenge going on.  This month it is Anything Goes with a Sami Stamps image.  You have a chance to win a guest design team spot!  How fun!  Won't you come play along?

Let's Eat!

Oh. My. Gosh!  Thanksgiving is in a week!  Well...in a week and a day, but close enough!!  I am so not ready.  What I am ready for, though, is this week's any holiday challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.

This is Thanksgiving Feast from QKR Stampede.  As I was coloring this, I realized two things.  The first is that turkeys are really funny looking birds!  And the second is that I don't really send Thanksgiving cards.  I was trying to think of another way to use the image and this was my idea.  What about a place card that also includes a personal message to each guest?!  Now...I don't have enough people come to my house for Thanksgiving to need place cards, but I thought it was a fabulous idea!  I added the banner for the guest's name.  You could also use this to label food dishes if you do a potluck style dinner.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.  Clicking the badges below to pop over and stuff your shopping carts full of digis before you stuff yourself full of...tur...food!  (Shh...don't tell him!)

Let It Snow!

Only...not really!  Welcome back to another challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs!  This week the challenge is snowflakes.  Add snowflakes to your project.  Crafty snowflakes are so much better than the real ones.  The real ones make it far too cold for me.  That's part of the reason we have moved down south!

For my project I used Snow Angel.  I wanted some frosty colors, so stayed with the lighter blues and purples in my Copic collection.  I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the snow in the angel, but of course that stuff is really hard to catch in a photo!  I took some Stampendous! shabby blue frantage, and applied it to a wooden snowflake that I had inked with a white craft ink stamp pad.  I love the way it turned out!

You have a chance to win some wonderful Crafty Sentiments images just for playing along!  If you are chosen as the winner and you used a Crafty Sentiments stamp, then you can win even more!

And I have some exciting news to share!  I have been asked to become part of the permanent design team!  That means I get to keep playing with these adorable images!  How could I possibly say no?!

I hope you will show us your snowy creations!  Remember to use snowflakes to play along.

A Sweet Melody

It is my turn to provide some inspiration on the MoonFlower blog.  I chose to do a Christmas project.  I think Heaven's Melody makes a wonderful Christmas image.

I colored Heaven's Melody with Copic markers and used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  She has gold Wink of Stella on her harp, the stars in her hair, and the pin on her robe.  I also edged a white flower with the gold Wink of Stella.  It is so sparkly in real life.

Until next time, MoonFlower Fans!

Thankful

Wow!  It is so hard to believe that it is almost Thanksgiving already!  I just can't believe how time flies.  This week for Sweet Sunday on the Rubbernecker Blog I used a recent release.

This stamp is Cornucopia and is colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.  What a lovely harvest it was!

Sending Smiles

Welcome back for another Rubbernecker Blog post.  I am having so much fun playing with rubber stamps again.  Don't get me wrong, I still love my digis for so many reasons, but it is good to get inky once in a while.

For this project, I thought I would create something a little sunny.  Pretty soon the days are going to turn cold and dreary.  In your part of the world that may have happened already!  I will have plenty of winter projects coming up, but I just felt like one more sunny project would be awesome.

This is Clare and she was colored with Copic markers.  She just seems so happy!  I used a wooden word sentiment that I found on clearance in the impulse bins at the craft store.  I bought a bunch!  You can always find a way to use them!  As my hubby always says..."It will turn up in something!"

If you popped over from the Rubbernecker blog, thank you so much for visiting.  If you are a follower and are seeing this post directly from my blog, pop over to the Rubbernecker blog.  You won't regret it!  Well...your pocket book might!

Greetings!

I know I say it a lot, but I can't believe it is Wednesday again!  Since I have gone back to work, the weeks fly by!  But since it really is Wednesday again, that means it is time for the new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  This week the theme is to use a sentiment.

This week I colored up Suzy Boo Beach Girl from Lacy Sunshine.  Look at those big eyes!  I used Copics to color her.  I kind of thought she looked like she was posing for a picture, so I made a "polaroid" frame by cutting a long rectangle.  The word is the second half of "seasons greetings".  Hopefully some day I will find a way to use seasons!

Lacy Sunshine is our sole sponsor this week.  You have the chance to win 3 digital images from the shop.  You can click the badge below to pop over and take a peek.

Why not play along before another Wednesday comes and goes and we start another new challenge!
