Beautiful Sunflower

I am providing the inspiration for the MoonFlower blog today using the newest release, Sunflower Maiden.

I kept this card soft and sweet, but she would look gorgeous with autumn tones as well.  Sunflower Maiden was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I just used some embossing for the background so the design was more subtle than patterned paper.

MoonFlower Digistamps is sponsoring some activities in the Kit and Clowder coloring group on Facebook.  If you haven't heard of Kit and Clowder and you love coloring, you definitely need to come check out what is happening.  Any fan of MoonFlower will be so very excited!

Butterfly Fairy

This week at Crafty Sentiments we have everyone's favorite challenge, anything goes.  We always get so many wonderful entries when we have an anything goes challenge.

I used the sweet Isobel-Butterfly Fairy stamp for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut by hand.  She has clear Wink of Stella on her wings and so do the butterflies.  I used this gorgeous paper from the Bo Bunny Country Garden collection that is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.

You can win some fun Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  If you are chosen as the winner and you used a Crafty Sentiments digital or rubber stamp, you will win 3 digital images.  If you didn't use a Crafty Sentiments product, you will win one image.  We also choose a Crafty Sentiments favorite from all of the projects using a Crafty Sentiments rubber stamp or image.  You will also win one stamp.

I hope you will decide to play along.

Fur and Tails

Another Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post means another inspiration project from me! This week I chose to use Reanne and Kit.  It is such a sweet stamp and I can't get enough of their little faces!

I colored the stamp using Copic markers and used a die to cut it out.  I wanted a fun and colorful background paper and found this in my scrap basket.  I don't think I will ever be able to completely empty that thing out!  The sentiment comes from the new Dogs 1 clear set.  I thought it was so perfect for this stamp too.

While you are visiting the blog and checking out all of the projects for this week, check out our challenge as well.  Playing along gives you a chance to win a gift certificate for the shop.  Speaking of the shop, you should check out all of the new releases for June!  Be on the lookout for even more fun coming soon.

Dance in Your Garden

Hello Rubbernecker fans!  Today is my day to provide you some Rubbernecker inspiration on the blog.  I love how this turned out and it was so quick and easy!

I stamped Wild Garden Frame on a piece of patterned paper.  The pattern was fairly subtle so it wouldn't overpower the silhouette stamp.  I used the Freehand Border Phrase Set for the sentiment and used a die to give it some oomph so it would stand out against the stamp.

If you love Rubbernecker Stamps, you should come play in the challenge.  You could win some cash to spend in the shop.  We have some fun themes happening and you don't have to use a Rubbernecker Stamps product to play along.  If you have some, we would love to see them though.

Magical Birthday

This week at Creative Knockouts, we have a for the boys challenge theme.  I have had to do several of these lately, so I am starting to get over the stress of having to make masculine cards.

This is Wizz Doodles from Dr.Digi.  I colored him with Copic markers and his magic was colored with Copic Spica pens.  They have so much more sparkle in real life.  The area around his hands also has clear Wink of Stella for some extra sparkle.  I created the sentiment using the Silhouette Design software.  It is hard to see in the picture, but the word "magical" is filled with a star pattern.

You have the chance to win 2 digital images for playing along.  The shop has so many great characters in it.  Click the badge below to pop over and say hi.

Trick or Treat!

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, we are celebrating any holiday!  We want to see your projects that celebrate any holiday.

This is Isabella Trick or Treat from Rick St. Dennis.  She was colored with Copic markers, and it was so much fun!  I cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I love Halloween and making Halloween cards, but I never actually mail them!  The sentiment is a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store.  I have added some sparkle with a gold Spica pen to her buckles and some silver Spica to the wire on the broom.

We have two fabulous sponsors for you this week.  You can click either badge below to go over to each shop to have a look around

Queen for a Day

Hello MoonFlower fans!  Rae Ann here with your dose of MoonFlower inspiration.  For my project I used Gigi Queen.  I thought she looked like a fun challenge.

I loved the idea of a black and gold color palette for Gigi Queen.  Then I decided to throw a pop of teal in there for an accent.  She was colored with Copic markers and I cut her out using the Silhouette.  Her cape was colored with Copics first and then covered with gold Wink of Stella.  Her crown and belt also have gold Wink of Stella. I added some teal embellishments and a gorgeous glass crystal pendant that I found at a yard sale.  I wanted an elegant background paper and I found this awesome embossed paper in the DCWV Bella Armoire stack in my stash.

Do you like challenges?  Would you like the chance to win MoonFlower images?  Planning for a challenge blog is underway and will be going live in the future.  Join the Facebook group to find out when it goes live or watch this blog for more info.

Summer Play

Summer is almost here and we are celebrating the arrival at the Crafty Sentiments Challenge.  We want to see your summer projects.

Is there anything better than being barefoot in the summer?!  I don't think so and I think Isobel agrees with me!  This sweet girl is from the Welcome Spring Set 2.  The best thing about this card is I used up three scraps of paper!  One of these days, I will empty my scrap basket.  I colored Isabel with Copic markers and fussy cut her so I could create this little scene.  The cloud paper is from Bo Bunny's Sun Kissed collection that you can purchase in digital form at Snap Click Supply.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  If you use a Crafty Sentiments stamp or image and are chosen as the random winner, you win even more!

I can't wait to see your summer projects.

Congratulations!

Welcome back to another Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post.  For my inspiration this week, I made another card using Mick.  I got a chance to test the new matching die, so I had to give it a try!  This little guy is so perfect for a range of cards.  You don't need to use him for just a birthday card.  I made a congratulations card with him this week.

I colored Mick with Copic markers and layered a couple of circle dies to give the image a lot of weight on the card.  I kept the embellishments simple so Mick can take center stage. The matching die isn't available in the shop just yet, but should be in the near future.  The sentiment is from the Best Friends Etc set.  This set has a great mix of themes and has quickly become my go to set for sentiments.

If you are up for a challenge and a chance to win a gift certificate for the shop, check out the Rubbernecker Stamps challenge.  It runs bi-weekly and has some fun themes for the challenge.  You still have plenty of time to join in the Summertime challenge that is going on right now.  You can always find the current challenge at the top of the blog.

Fabulous!

For my Rubbernecker Stamps post this week, I pulled out Clover.  I got to test the new matching die and it makes life so easy!  The die isn't available just yet, but will be in the near future.

I colored Clover with Copic markers and went with purple and black because I think it is such an great color scheme.  I didn't have a sentiment that I wanted to use, so I think I will be adding Simply Fabulous to my collection, because it would have been perfect!  I used some purple gems for her earrings so they have a little dimension to them.

We have a bi-weekly challenge and you have a chance to win cash for the Rubbernecker Stamps shop just for playing along.  Be sure to pop over and check it out.

Cute Koala!

We have a new challenge at Creative Knockouts this week.  The challenge...washi tape.  I have to admit, washi tape is a true challenge for me.  I am not a fan.  It is too see through for me.  It really doesn't layer well.  In fact, I only own one roll and that was given to me.  Now ribbon on the other hand....   I pulled out that roll of washi tape and got to work, and I have to say, I am pleased with the result.

This is Kiwi Koala's Gift from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I colored Kiwi with Copic markers and used the Silhouette to cut him out.  The roll of washi tape I have is very wide, so I used it for the bottom panel of the card.  The polka dots are actually silver and they have great sheen to them, but it was very hard to capture in the picture.  I had done another project using the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug and a scrap was laying next to my work space.  I realized the card stock was the perfect color and cut the word "birthday" from the scrap.  I die cut "happy" and had a quick and easy sentiment.

You can click the badge below to pop over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop.  There are so many wonderful items and images to look at.  You have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to use on digital stamps.

A Little Embossing

We have a brand new challenge for you today over at the Crafty Gals Corner.  The challenge this week is to use embossing on your project.  It can be wet or dry embossing and can be a little or a lot!

I used English Lady from Star Stampz and colored her with Copic markers.  I had to use the Silhouette to cut her out so her gorgeous skirt could stick out from the oval.  I used dry embossing on my card because I make a complete mess when I use embossing powder.  I also love the look of dry embossing and I have more embossing folders than I care to admit to!  I also embossed the die behind her which was cut from some gorgeous sparkly paper.

We have two fabulous sponsors with two fabulous prizes up for grabs.  The badges below will link you to each shop in the event that you want to take a look around.

Super Duper

We are starting a new challenge over at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  Our challenges are always anything goes so it is so easy to play along with us.

For my project I used Superhero Panda and I colored him with Copic markers.  There wasn't a ton of coloring needed for this little guy, so I added some shading to his white areas.  He was cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I also cut the shapes behind him using this cut file from the Silhouette Design Store.  The papers are both available as digital downloads on the Snap Click Supply website.

You have a chance to win some awesome prizes from our sponsors.  The badges below are linked each shop for easy shopping.

Feeling Wise

This month the challenge at Fabrika Fantasy is for the men/boys.  This is always a tough one for me, but Wise Dragon really made it a little easier.  He is so much fun to color and you can really experiment with color palettes.

I colored Wise Dragon with Copic markers and did some sponging to make it look like a page from an old book. Then a piece of text paper completes the look.  I glued a scrap of the paper to the back so I could curl the corner.  I also used a wide ribbon so it would look similar to the ribbon bookmarks you see in old books.

You have a chance to win 3 images if you use a Fabrika Fantasy image.  You have a chance at one image if you don't.  The team will also choose a top 3 from all of the projects linked to the challenge.

I hope you will play along.
