Happy Halloween!

Hello everyone!  Today my project is featured on the Rubbernecker Blog and I thought I would try some direct stamping since I haven't done it in such a long time!

I used the tree from Halloween Set One and stamped it on some grey patterned paper.  Then I stamped it on a sticky note and cut it out.  I didn't fussy cut into all of the branches though!  I used the sticky note to mask the tree and then stamped it two more times to create the group.  I used a Silhouette cut file for the tombstones and fence.  Last but not least, I stamped the bats from Halloween Set One.  The sentiment is from Halloween Set Three.

Pop back to check and see what my teamies have in store for you on Sunday.  You will love it!

Think Pink

It's another Friday on the Sami Stamps blog and since it is the fifth Friday in the month, we are featuring past images from the Sami Stamps shop.  This month we are featuring the Think Pink category.  As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so this is the perfect feature.

I used the image Beautiful for my project.  It can be paired with many different sentiments depending on the emotion you want the card to convey.  She was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette.  You can find her in the shop in the Think Pink category.  Pop on over to the blog and check out the other gorgeous projects my teamies made.  They are all so lovely.

Autumn Magic

This week at the Creative Knockouts our theme is Autumn.  I love fall and while I don't get the colors here in the south, we do get cooler weather.  Unfortunately, summer has been hanging on and I just keep waiting for fall!  To pass the time and help me look forward to those cooler temperatures, I will have to keep making fall projects!

I used Autumn Magic from Saturated Canary for my project.  Unfortunately, Krista has closed her shop, so I have no links for you.  She was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Our sponsor this week is Di's Digi Stamps.  There are so many adorable images in the shop.  Click the link below and take a look for yourself.  You could win a prize of a $12 gift certificate just for playing along!

Autumn Nap

At the Crafty Gals Corner this week we have an anything goes challenge.  I am so ready for fall that I decided to use this sweet little guy.

This sweet digi is called Autumn Nap and you can find him in Rick St. Dennis' Zibbet shop.  You can find more of Rick's art in his Etsy shop.  The Etsy shop is where you can find his less...cuddly...creations. =)  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  The pumpkin shaped card is also a Silhouette file, but it didn't start out as a card.  I love how easy it is to manipulate files in the software.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.  I have linked the badges below to make is super easy for you to go shopping.  You can thank me later!

Thinking of You By the Lake

Hello!  It is my turn on the MoonFlower blog and I have a gorgeous, new release image to share with you.  It is called By the Lake and you can find her in the MoonFlower shop on Etsy.  Look at all of that gorgeous hair and the beautiful folds!  A fun challenge for sure!

This card originally started out in my head as a white, one layer card.  I just couldn't wrap my head around all of that white space, so I cut her out...by hand...and put her on blue card stock that had been embossed with clouds.  That was much easier for my brain to accept and I went on from there!  She was colored with Copic markers and the sentiment came from the Silhouette store.  I kept the embellishments simple.  After all, it was supposed to be a one layer card, you know!

If you have a spare moment or two, come visit us in the Facebook group.  We would love for you to pop in and say "hi"!

So Sweet

Welcome back to the Crafty Gals Corner!  This week our challenge is critters!  We want to see critters on your projects.

My critter is this adorable Cat from STAMPlorations.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  I thought it was sweet and paired it with a sentiment of "so sweet".  I thought it would made a good thank you card for someone.  I created the tag by punching the Extra Large Decorative Label from Stampin' Up and putting the punched shape back into the punch and punching off the end.  When you line it up just right, you get a small decorative label.

We have three wonderful sponsors on offer this week.  Each badge is linked to the shop to make it super easy for you to pop in and take a look around.

Always

Hello everyone!  The theme this week at Crafty Sentiments Designs is for someone special.  As soon as I saw this stamp, I knew I wanted to use it for this theme.  My hubby and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on Sunday, and I gave him this card.  I know it isn't super masculine, but he is okay with that. =)

This is Endless Love.  They are just too cute!  They were colored with Copic markers.  I didn't put too many embellishments on it since I planned to give it to my husband.

Don't forget, the prizes have changed a little bit.  If you are chosen as the winner and you used a Crafty Sentiments stamp, you will receive 3 digital images as your prize.  If you didn't use a Crafty Sentiments stamp you will receive 1 digital image.  The Crafty Sentiments favorite will also receive 1 image as a prize.  You can click the image below to pop over and shop a little.

I hope you will celebrate someone special and join in on the fun.

A Little Boo!

Today is my second Rubbernecker Stamps design team post!  It is so exciting to be on this team and working with rubber stamps again.

This sweet little skeleton came from Halloween Set 3 and the sentiment came from Halloween Set 1.
I colored him with copics and the frame is a Silhouette cut file.  It started out as an oval, but I made it into a circle.  The background and banner papers are digital files from Echo Park's Arsenic and Old Lace collection.  You can find them on Snap Click Supply.

Be sure to visit my teamies and give them some love.  They have some gorgeous projects this week!

Trick or Treat!

Something really exciting happened to me recently.  I was asked to join the Rubbernecker Stamps design team!  You could have knocked me over with a feather when that happened!  Why am I so excited?!  I discovered this company years ago when I went to a stamp convention that was held a couple of towns over from where I lived.  Each year when I went back, I made sure to visit their booth and always left with my wallet lighter and my shopping bag much heavier!  I am so excited to now be on the team that creates some of the display projects!  I oohed and ahhed over their project boards and now I get to be on them! Here is my first project as a design team member.

I have been working with digital stamps for quite a while now and it was so nice to have the feel of a stamp in my hands again!  This little guy is from the Halloween Set 3 and the sentiment came from the Halloween Set 1.  I had so much fun creating this little scene for him to prowl around in.  I cut the moon using my Silhouette Cameo and a cut file from the store.  The background paper for the sky was a scrap I had in my hoard pile of scraps.  I thought it worked perfectly for this card!

You can find this little guy and many more awesome Halloween stamps in the shop.  Be sure to visit the blog and my new teamies, because I have seen their projects.  You don't want to miss them!

Christmas Blessings

Hello everyone!  It is the third Friday of the month and that means it is new release time!  Sami has a great new release for you this week and it is in plenty of time to get started on your Christmas cards.

This release is called Noble Little King.  I have it on good authority that you could be seeing more digis in the future to go with this set. =)

This is my project using Mary.  I loved how peaceful she looks.  I colored her with Copic markers and used the Silhouette to cut her out.  The sentiment is also a Silhouette cut file that I filled and printed.

Don't forget to join us for the Sami Stamps Challenge.  The theme this month is to use dots and you must used a Sami Stamps image to enter.  You still have plenty of time to play along.

If you don't have anything else better to do, join us in the Sami Stamps Facebook group.  It is a great place to hang out and share your Sami Stamps projects.  We would love to see you.

Holiday Cheer

Fabrika Fantasy has a new release today!  It is a mix of coloring pages and digital images.  Dimitry has some wonderfully detailed coloring pages and has created several more.  I had the opportunity to work with Cheerful Elf from the new release.

Who doesn't love an elf riding on a cat?!  You can find Cheerful Elf and all of the new releases in the shop.  If you would like more inspiration, pop into the Fabrika Fantasy group on Facebook, and check out all of the new release projects from the team.  They are simply gorgeous.  While you are there, you can share your Fabrika Fantasy projects with us.  We would love to see them!

Jewel

So...I have been doing this for a while now.  When I saw that Emerald Fairies was sponsoring the Creative Knockouts this week, I was surprised to know there was a digital stamp company that I actually hadn't heard of yet!  I popped over to the shop and immediately fell in love!  These stamps are so adorable!

I would like for you to meet Jewel.  Isn't she just the sweetest?!  She was colored with Copic markers.  She has clear Wink of Stella on her wings because a fairy named Jewel MUST sparkle!

The theme for this week is Winged Wonders, so anything with wings will work: fairies, bugs, birds...heck even an airplane!  If you play along, you have a chance to win a prize from Emerald Fairies.  Click the badge below to pop over and see the rest of Jewel's darling family.

Lady of the Woods

Hello!  It is my turn on the MoonFlower blog to provide a little inspiration.  I was looking for something a little fall-like since fall is on the way.  Even here in the south, fall is definitely on the way.  There is a little less humidity and the air is getting a bit cooler.  We don't really get fall colors, but I can make up for that with my projects.

I chose to use Anthera, Lady of the Woods for my project this time around.  Isn't she an amazing image?!  I colored her with Copic markers.  She was cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The frame is also a Silhouette cut file.  I also added a bit of gold Wink of Stella to her jewelry and some clear Wink of Stella to her antlers. The wood buttons were a very light color, so I used a matching Copic marker to color them and tone them down a bit.

Come join us in the MoonFlower Facebook group if you are on Facebook.  It is a great way for you to share your MoonFlower projects and us to ooh and ahh over them!

I hope to see you there!
