Lilly Snow White

Hello everyone!  I am a little late today with my MoonFlower inspiration post!  So sorry about that!  I missed it on my calendar and forgot to schedule it ahead of time!

This is Lilly Snow White, one of the newest releases at MoonFlower Digi Stamps.  Lilly is the newest member of the MoonFlower family, and I absolutely love her sweet face!  If you look closely at her eyes, they are spectacular!  You will see more of her in the coming weeks and I know you will love what you see.  I colored Lilly Snow White similar to the Disney version using Copic markers.

Andreia has been doing some giveaways in the MoonFlower Digital Stamps group on Facebook.  If you use Facebook, pop in and join us!  You won't want to miss out on the next one!

Winter Wishes

Hello and welcome to another challenge for Crafty Sentiments Designs.  The challenge this week is to use dies on your project.

For my project, I chose to use Cold Christmas.  It works really well for a winter card.  Most of the time I color without really knowing what layout or what papers I am going to use.  I was at a loss for this card until I found this awesome paper in my digital paper stash.  It is from the Carta Bella Snow Fun digital collection on Snap Click Supply.  I thought it made the perfect background for this sweet little girl.  The sentiment stamp is from Endless Creations.

You have a week to play along in our challenge and the chance to win some fabulous prizes.  If the chosen winner has used a Crafty Sentiments stamp or digital image, that person will win two extra images from the shop!  You can see the rules below.

Dies are a fun addition to your card.  Why not play along?

Believe in Forever

Hey Rubbernecker fans!  It is my turn to solo over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog.  This is the project I have for you today.

I was digging through all of the stamps I have collected and found this Wild Garden Border 2 stamp.  I thought it would be awesome as a black silhouette but needed the perfect background.  I started digging through my paper stash and found this scrap of card stock I previously attacked with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist.  I used Patina, Tuscan Sun and Scarlet.  It has a ton of wonderful shimmer in person.  The sentiment is Believe in Forever and I love that it is a quote from Winnie the Pooh.  He is my favorite and the whole reason I bought this stamp ages ago.

If you didn't pop over from the blog, go check it out.  My teamies are featured each day and we have a team post each Sunday.  All of the projects are drool-worthy so you won't be disappointed when you pop over.

And some exciting news!  Rubbernecker Stamps has also started a challenge.  You have a chance to win some Rubbernecker cash to have a crafty spend in the shop.  The first challenge is birthday.  There are some rules though.  Your project must have a stamped image.  Digi just won't do.  You can use any company but if you use a Rubbernecker stamp, you can enter up to three times!  I am a little jealous!  My wish list is really long!  There are a few other rules so make sure you read them when pop on over and join in the fun.

Hug in a Mug

Hello!  Welcome back to another Creative Knockouts challenge.  Our theme this week is to Finish the Inside!  That's right!  The often neglected inside of the card.  I will admit, I don't finish mine until I am about to use them.  Sometimes that makes things complicated if I can't find the matching paper.  One day I will learn to do it right away, but until that day...

I used Cozy Cocoa from Kenny K for my project.  I absolutely loved this image but she had a Christmas background.  I just fussy cut her so she could stand alone.  The sentiment was a Silhouette cut file that I filled and printed instead of cutting.

This is the inside of my card.  The border is from the Coffee Talk collection from Nitwit Collections.  So is the background paper on the front of the card.  I have been stuck in a coffee theme lately and I love, love, LOVE, this paper!  The decorative elements that come in the collection are awesome too.  I usually hand write my note, so I didn't stamp anything.  I am not sure what I will use the card for in the future.

Our sponsor this week is Kenny K.  There are so many fabulous images in the shop.  Kenny really has his own style when it comes to digital stamps!  You can click the badge below to pop over and see for yourself.  You have a chance to win three image of your choice by playing along.

Sweet Barista

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, the theme is to add a heart.  It can be an embellishment, paper, a die... as long as it is a heart.

I chose this sweet image from Polkadoodles for my project this week.  I am stuck on coffee themed projects it would seem!  The Barista from the Work and Play 12 collection was a great image for some fun coffee puns.  I settled on this sentiment from the Silhouette store and printed it instead of cutting it.  I didn't realize until I was putting the card together, that my background paper had hearts on it as well!  Bonus!

We have three fabulous sponsors for you this week.  The badges below are linked to each shop so you can have a look around.

Snow Fun

Is it snowy in your neck of the woods?  It has gotten pretty cold here in the Florida panhandle/lower Alabama.  By cold I mean upper 20's lower 30's.  Our azalea bushes got very confused and started to bloom.  All of the flowers are gone now, but I have no doubt that they will be back soon.  It is supposed to be in the upper 70's by the middle of the week!

We have a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  The challenge is anything goes.  Since there is a wintry feel in the air, I went with a wintry stamp.

I used Sledging With Teddy for my card.  I just thought this duo was super adorable.  I just realized as I was typing this, that I should have added a bit of shadow to the ground!  It looks as if they are floating on the sled.  I also tried to add some shading to the blades and went too dark with my greys.  I did add silver Wink of Stella so they have some sparkle, but they are just too dark!  Lesson learned!

You have a chance to win some awesome Crafty Sentiments products for playing along.  See the badge below for more info.  Plus you can click the badge to pop over to the shop and have a look around.

I hope you will join us.

Birthday Wishes

Today is the day for the Rubbernecker's team to provide you with some inspiration!  I have made a birthday card using a set I picked up ages ago from the rubber stamp convention near where I used to live.  I am going to miss that now that I am not living there any longer.

I used Candles for my project and masked them to make a group.  The background stamp is called Heart Panel and the sentiment is from the Floral Silhouette stamp set.  But it looks like after the store revamp, both have been discontinued. =(  The candles were colored with Copic markers with a little clear Wink of Stella on the flame and I used my new die set to cut them out. Love these stitched dies!  Don't forget to pop over to the blog and check out the rest of the other team member's projects.

Friendship

Welcome back Rubbernecker fans.  I hope you survived your holidays and you had a wonderful time with friends and family.  Our daughter wasn't able to be with us for Christmas for the first time in her life, but we were able to take advantage of technology and opened presents with her over a video call.  =)

I had a completely different color combo in mind for this.  I was going to go with white on plum, but the embossing powder I bought, labeled snow, was silver when heated!!  I am not sure where that snow is located, but it certainly wasn't what I had in mind.   Luckily, I bought another embossing powder while I was at the store and this color combo came to be.  Wild Garden Frame was wet embossed with champagne embossing powder.  The sentiment came from the Garden Silhouette stamp set.  The one I used has been retired, but you can find another version here.

Rubbernecker Stamps will start doing challenges soon.  Be sure to check back on the blog for more information.  You will have the chance to win Rubbernecker Stamps prizes!  I am sure you will be excited!

Frosty Kisses

Woo Woo!  It is the first Friday of the month and you know what that means!!  It is new release day at Sami Stamps!  You will love the releases for this month!  I just know it!  I don't have a watermarked panel to show you so you will just have to pop over to the blog and see for yourself.  The first Friday also means new challenge and this month our challenge to you is to add some sparkle.  Be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible to enter.

The release this month is called Snowman Friends and should be available now in the shop.  They are all super cute!  Why not pop over to the blog and check out what my teamies came up with.  Their projects are all so awesome!  This was colored with Copic markers, cut out using the Silhouette and her wings have clear Wink of Stella on them. You might think that I printed the sentiment from my computer, but I actually have a stamp that says "frosty kisses"!  I got it a a rubber stamp expo near my house from Endless Creations.  I forgot about it and was I excited to see it!

You have the chance to win Sami Stamps images for playing along.  First place wins a $12 gift certificate and second place gets $8!  Why not give it a shot?!  I hope to see your sparkly creation!

Warm Hands...

This week at Creative Knockouts we have an anything goes challenge for you.  A great way to get back into the swing of things after the holidays.  When I am chilly, I love to warm my hands on a good cup of coffee! So using Warm Hands Warm Heart by All Dressed Up Stamps makes sense!

I also love using pink and brown together!  This little cutie was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

This week All Dressed Up Stamps is our sponsor and you have a chance to win 2 images from the shop.  Just click on the badge below to start your wish list.

Winter Friends

Good morning and welcome back to a new year of challenges at the Crafty Gals Corner.  Things are going to be a touch different this year.  We have split into two teams with one team creating a weekly project and the other creating bi-weekly.  I am in the bi-weekly category so will only bring you a new Crafty Gals project every other week.  I have had to admit that I just can't do it all!  I have tried and it was exhausting.  This was an awesome compromise for me.  The challenge this week is to use something new.  I am sure you all got some crafty haul over the holidays and we want to see you use it!

I used Season's Tweetings from Wink Wink Ink.  I hadn't seen this stamp company yet and I am so in love!  This sweet snowman and his little birdy friend made me smile.  However, his hat had a sprig of holly on it!  Since Christmas has past, I used one of my new snowflake stickers to cover it up!  I also used a new stitched die set from Echo Park.  I have wanted some stitched dies forever and I finally got them!  I guess the snowflake mat would be new too since I created on my Silhouette by welding 6 different snowflake cuts with a circle.  I used some gorgeous glitter cardstock so it has so much sparkle in real life!

We have two fabulous sponsors for you this week.  Click the badges below to shop til you drop!

Happy Anything!

Happy Anything is the theme for this month's challenge at Fabrika Fantasy.  You don't have to use a Fabrika Fantasy stamp, but there is always a special prize given from those who do use one.

I used Happy Chipmunk for my project and even though it wasn't intended, the color combo came out a little masculine.  I guess I can put that in the "for a boy" pile!  The little chipmunk was colored with Copic markers and cut out by hand.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Slang Gang set.

I hope you will come play along with us.  Happy Anything is just about as good as anything goes!
