Dream

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, our challenge is anything goes.  We want to see your projects no matter what they are!

I used Dream Dress by SheepSki Designs for this card.  There were so many gorgeous folds and pleats in this dress!  It was a fun challenge to color.  I used Copic markers and cut out the image using the Silhouette Cameo.  The die was cut from some gorgeous glitter card stock and you can just see the shimmer in the picture.

We have two great sponsors for you this week.  Click the badge to visit the shops.

Not a Card?!

What do you mean I can't make a card?!  But I always make a card...I am breaking out in a cold sweat!  Our challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments is to make something other than a card.  This is always very hard for me.  I have my go to layouts for cards that always get my creative juices flowing, but it is so much harder with other types of projects.  I love seeing everyone else's gorgeous creations though!

I love Apple's product packaging, so I keep all of the boxes and things that my Apple  items come in.  So I pulled out an old phone box and started thinking.

I had already colored my image, so I found some paper to match and covered the top of the box.

The paper didn't completely reach both sides of the box lid, so I grabbed some pretty trim and attached it.  Then I grabbed some contrasting ribbon, so flowers and gems and it came together pretty quickly.  I used Love's Basket for my box lid and thought it made a pretty all occasion image.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  I used a little clear Wink of Stella on the hearts in the basket.  It adds the perfect touch of shimmer and shine.

You have a chance a winning some awesome Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  If you are chosen as the winner, and you have used a Crafty Sentiments stamp or image, you win even more prizes!  So if you have them, pull them out!

I can't wait to see your anything but a card projects.  I am going to take notes so I won't have to sweat so much next time!

The End of the Rainbow

Welcome to my Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post.  This week I used the Candle Set. It was so easy to create this card because I used the matching die as well.  The die will be available in the shop soon!

When I got this rubber stamp, I cut the candles apart so I could use them as individual stamps.  I felt the set would be really versatile that way.  For this project, I stamped each candle enough times so I could make a rainbow.  Since I needed 7 candles, the heart candle got used a third time, because a birthday card should be full of love.  I colored each candle with Copic markers using the colors of the rainbow and used the die to cut them apart.  Even though the die is one piece and I had cut the candles apart, it was still really easy to use the die to cut these out.  It's hard to see, but I popped them up with a little bit of fun foam for some dimension and attached them in rainbow color order.  The sentiment is from the new Best Friends Etc clear set.  It is quickly becoming my go to sentiment set.  I love the font and there are so many fabulous phrases. Since they are clear, you can even bend them if you want to stamp them in something other than a straight line.  I use a Copic Spica pen to draw the stitches.  It adds just a touch of sparkle to this card.

Peony Maiden

Hello MoonFlower fans!  I cannot believe it is time for me to post another MoonFlower inspiration project.  Where does the time go?!

This is the time of the month when the team uses the newest release in the shop, so I have Peony Maiden for you.  Her hair was so much fun to color!  The gorgeous die cut panel came from a pad that I found on clearance at Michaels.  The pad is full of gorgeous florals and It was an exciting find!  I thought this one would be an awesome backdrop for this fabulous digi.  She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette to cut her out.  I would seriously go crazy without that machine.  The hat pins are handmade using some loose beads and head pins.  It is so fun to customize the beads to your color palette!

You can find Peony Maiden in the shop now.  I am sure Andreia has something amazing in store for us next month, so be sure to pop back and see what it is.  You can also join us in the Facebook group so you will know exactly when the newest images are available.  Hope to see you there!

Emboss it

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge for you is to add embossing.  I prefer dry embossing, but wet embossing will work too!

I used Chickz - Holy Cluck Another Birdday from Bugaboo Stamps for this project. The image was colored with Copic markers.  I used the Silhouette to cut it out in an oval, but then ended up fussy cutting it to just the image.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and you have the chance to win 3 images by playing along.  Click the badge below to pop over to the shop.

This is Mrs. Luvvy Owl from Digital Delights.  She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette to cut the oval since I had some other images on my sheet still.  The sentiment is from the Discover Words stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Little Polly in Pastels

This week at Crafty Sentiments our challenge is to use pastel colors.  I love the soft tones of pastels, so this is an awesome challenge for me!

This is Little Polly - Collecting Flowers.  I colored her with COPIC markers and fussy cut her.  She is mounted on a die cut doily that I bought ages ago, and found while I was looking for something else. It has a soft shimmery finish and just adds a little glamour to this card.

You have a chance to win Crafty Sentiments images by playing along. You don't have to use a Crafty sentiments image or stamp to play, but if you do and you are chosen as the winner, you win more!

Thanks for Everything

It is time for another Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday Post.  It is the day that my teamies and I all bring you some new Rubbernecker Stamps inspiration.

This week I used Teddy Bear.  This is such a sweet stamp and can be used in so many ways.  This time I used him for a thank you card.  He will have a matching die soon.  I also used the new clear set Best Friends Etc for the sentiment.  This set will also have a matching die so keep watching for that!

Check out our challenge for your chance to win a gift certificate for the store.  You can pop over to the blog for more details.

Callas Lilly Faerie

Hello MoonFlower fans!  Rae Ann here bringing you some inspiration using an older MoonFlower image.  I decided to use Callas Lilly Faerie this time.  I bought her before I joined the MoonFlower design team and I thought it was time I colored her up!

One of the hardest things for me is to decide on what colors to use.  I finally decided on the gorgeous teals in the Copic markers and got to work.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  I always color first and then design my card.  Luckily, I had some paper to match!  I used some clear Wink of Stella on her wings.  I think faeries should always have sparkly wings.

You should visit the MoonFlower blog to see what my other teamies have posted lately.  There is some remarkable talent on the team and the projects are gorgeous!

Howl of a Day

I can't believe I am typing another Rubbernecker Stamps post!  I also can't believe it is just about the middle of May either!  I do not know where the time has gone!  For my Rubbernecker Stamps post this week, I bring to you a project using the new clear Dogs 1 set and the matching dies.

I stamped this sweet pup and then colored him with Copic markers.  The sentiment and the paw print come from the Dogs 1 set as well.  I also used the Plaid Background for a contrasting pattern on the background.  I simply used some Versamark ink to get the tone on tone look.

If you haven't popped over to the blog in a while, you should take a look at everything my teamies have come up with for you to look at.  Just gorgeous!

While you are there, check out our current challenge.  You could be the lucky winner of some cash to spend in the store!

A Touch of Eden

The challenge at Creative Knockouts this week is one of my favorites!  Our challenge is to use your favorite embellishment.  I have so many favorites, but it is fun to try to put them on one card!

I used Eden Blossoms from Polkadoodles and colored her with Copic markers.  I had to use the Silhouette to cut her out since she was a touch too big for the die.  The out of the box technique is so easy with the Cameo!  So...my favorite embellishments...I think dies count...check...flowers...check...lace or ribbon...check...buttons...check...gems and pearls...check check!  So I have pretty much all of my favorite embellishments on this card.  I tried to fit a little ribbon, but I just couldn't find the spot for it.

This week, Polkadoodles is our sponsor, and you have a chance to win your choice of a gift certificate for $6.75 or 3 digital stamps.  Click the badge below to explore the shop.

Foxy Momma!

I had to do something new for this challenge at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  What is it you ask?  I had to use a precolored image!  I really didn't know what to do with myself!  But this image is so stinking cute!

This sweet momma fox and baby are part of the Foxy Gal combo set.  The paper is part of the set as well and it all comes from AMB Illustratons.  This pack is jam packed with awesome papers and black and white images as well as colored ones.  When I chose this image, I completely forgot about the fact that Mother's Day was coming up, but this makes such a sweet Mother's Day card.  To make it easy, I opened the file in the Silhouette software and used the Cameo to cut it out.

Our challenge is always anything goes at the Patch, so it is easy to play along.  You have a chance to win prizes from these fabulous sponsors:
