Meow!

Hello MoonFlower friends!  Andreia has added another gorgeous image to the shop and I am here today to show her off!

This is Lilly the Cat Fairy and she was colored with Copic markers. She just screamed to have pink!  Not sure why, but that was just the direction it went! Then I found this "meow" embellishment in my stash, and it worked perfectly!  She has clear Wink of Stella on her wings and gold Wink of Stella on her dress trim.  You know a fairy has got to sparkle!  You can find Lilly Cat Fairy in the shop.  I can't wait to see what Lilly will be doing next!

Don't forget about the MoonFlower Facebook group!  If you are on Facebook, we would love to have you pop in and say hi!

Spring Planting

This week at the Crafty Sentiments Designs challenge, the theme is spring.  I know many people who are looking forward to spring!  Spring means pretty flowers and sometimes you have to do a little work to have those pretty flowers.

Josh decided to get an early start on his flower beds!  This is Josh Planting and he is hard at work getting his garden ready.  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  I used a little silver Wink of Stella on his trowel to give it some sparkle and shine.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes.  If you are chosen as the random winner and you used a Crafty Sentiments image or rubber stamp, you get extra prizes!  See the badge below for all of the details.

I hope you will celebrate spring and come play with us!

Norm

Hello!  It is time for our Sweet Sunday post at Rubbernecker Stamps.  I have made a card using this little cutie, Norm.  I just love these kid stamps, if you couldn't tell!

Norm was colored using Copic markers.  The sentiment comes from the Best Wishes set.  I cut the words apart so I could stamp them in a line instead of stacked.  The upper background panel was created using the Watercolor Stripes background stamp.

Pop over and check out all of the other projects my teamies created for you today.  Then, while you are there, join us for our challenge.  It is all about the animals this time around!  You could win Rubbernecker cash to use in the store!  Wouldn't that be fun?!

Happiness

One of the first stamps I ever bought from Rubbernecker Stamps was the Flourish Tree.  I thought this tree had so many possibilities!  I used it not too long ago to make a winter card and I am pulling it out again to show you another way to use it.

Once I stamped the tree, I punched tiny flowers in rainbow colors.  Then I colored clear gems with Copic markers so they would match the papers I used for the flowers.  Pop a gem into the center of the corresponding flower, scatter them over the tree, and you are done!  A few embellishments and a sentiment and you are done!  The sentiment I used came from the Best Wishes set.  I cut the word "happiness" from it's phrase so I could use it alone.  That is one of the really nice things about unmounted stamps!

Don' forget Rubbernecker Stamps has a challenge now.  You can win some Rubbernecker cash to use in the store.  Just link up your project on the blog.

Don't forget to pop over to the blog tomorrow to see what's on order from my teamies!

Follow the Recipe

At Creative Knockouts this week, our challenge is to follow our recipe.  We want to see three patterned papers, 2 embellishments and 1 image.

For my project I used Day Dreaming Henry from Crafty Sentiments Designs.  I pulled out some papers from the same pad to makes rue the colors matched!  Three papers is a bit of a stretch for me, so I needed all the help I could get.  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  A couple of cute buttons finished the card nicely.  It was hard to not throw flowers on there, but I was trying to keep it "masculine"!

Crafty Sentiments Designs is our sponsor this week.  They have rubber stamps as well as digital images in the shop, so click the badge and have a look.

I used Dragonfly Fairy Girl from Oddball Art for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  As far as my favorite things...well they are all there!!  I used a die, ribbon, lace, flowers, buttons and gems!  Oh my!

The White Queen

Hello MoonFlower fans!  I have an amazing new MoonFlower digital stamp to share with you today.  It is the newest member of the MoonFlower family, Lilly, starring as the White Queen!

I kept to a white and gold color combo.  Her hair didn't turn out quite the way I pictured it, but the White Queen's hair is not easy!!  She was colored with Copic markers, and I will try another time with a different color combo.  I couldn't quite find the right one for the tones of the White Queen's hair.  Her crown and jewelry have gold Wink of Stella for some amazing shimmer and shine.  I also used the gold Wink of Stella pen on the white flower for the perfect touch of sparkle!

Be sure to pop into the MoonFlower Facebook group from time to time!  Andreia previews the new digis and posts the latest MoonFlower news.  You won't want to miss it.

Calla Lillies

Hello!  It is time for our team Sunday post at Rubbernecker Stamps.  I was running short on crafty time this week, so I grabbed this gorgeous Calla Lillies stamp.  I only had to do some shading since they are white anyway!

I thought this stamp would make a gorgeous birthday card.  I sponged some ink on the image before I removed it from the die and did a little piercing too.  It added some interest without detracting from the stamp.  The sentiment was from the Best Wishes set.  The words were stacked, but I cut them apart so I could stamp them individually.

You can see all of the gorgeous projects my teammates came up with by popping over to the blog.  While you are there, give them some love!

While you are visiting the blog, check out the current challenge.  The theme is love and romance and you could win some cash to use in the Rubbernecker Store!  I hope you will decide to play along!

See you next time!

Sweet Heart

Hello everyone!  It is time for another challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  The challenge is always anything goes and we love to see your gorgeous projects.

For this challenge I used Ava Heart from Bugaboo.  Don't you just love my new watermark?!  Denise created new ones for the team and I lust love that little bee.  That is pretty much the way I feel nowadays!  I colored Ava Heart with Copic markers and fussy cut her.  I found these gorgeous metal words at Michaels in the dollar bin on clearance for $.50 and bought all that I could get my hands on!
We have fabulous sponsors for you as always here at the Patch so just click the badges below to shop and show them some love.

Coffee & Friends

Hello Rubbernecker fans!  Today is my turn to be featured on the Rubbernecker blog and I created this fun coffee card using some coffee themed stamps from the shop.  I do love my coffee!

I used Coffee & Tea Inchies to create the top half of the background and also the main image.  I drew in a table so it looked like friends were having coffee together.  I stamped the bottom half of the card using the Coffee Bean Background.  The perfect companion for these inchies!

We have started a challenge at Rubbernecker stamps and you have the chance to win Rubbernecker cash to be used in the shop for playing along.  I really hope you will join us.  See the blog post for more information.

Sweet Mermaid

Hello everyone!  It is the first Friday of the month and that means a new challenge and a new release at Sami Stamps.  The challenge is to use circles and Sami created this sweet mermaid for the shop.

I colored the mermaid with Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette.  I wanted her to look like she was floating in a bubble, so a circle die was the perfect choice!  I also used a Core'dinations embossed cardstock for the background.  I sanded it a bit so the embossed dots would look like bubbles too.

You have all month to play along with us, but be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to play along otherwise you will not be eligible to win.

I hope you guys run circles around us!

Birthday Wishes

Welcome back to another challenge at the Creative Knockouts!  This week the challenge is Birthday Wishes and we always need to have a stash of birthday cards on hand.  So play along with us!

My project for this week uses Scribbled Floral 1 from Fred She Said.  I know! I know!  Try not to be too shocked!  This one is pretty simple, but I like it!  I knew I had these tags and when I pulled them out I couldn't believe my luck in how well this one matched!  They are double sided, which is just two of them stuck together.  I separated them and have a second one to use another time.  Got to make that crafty stash stretch you know!

Fred She Said is our sole sponsor this week.  You have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate just by playing along and adding to your stash of birthday cards.  Click the badge below to pop over to the shop.

This week I used Winter Kiss from Star Stampz.  Aren't they adorable?  She sure has him twitterpated!  My sparkle comes from the die cut from glitter paper, the sparkly heart button, and some glitter enamel dots.  Maybe I should have used more!!  I colored this adorable couple with Copic markers and fussy cut them by hand.
