But First...

Coffee!

In my continuing theme of coffee and using every, single one of the new coffee stamps, I have made another coffee card for my inspiration post over at the Rubbernecker blog.  This sweet guy is Stokes, and he looks like how I feel when people are talking to me before I have had my coffee!

He was colored using Copic markers and fussy cut.  He does have a matching die, but I don't have it in my stash yet.  I will definitely be adding it soon!  The sentiment comes from the Coffee Blanket set and I used one of the Nested Banner Stitch dies to cut it out.  He was mounted on a Nested Oval Small Stitch die and that was matted with a Nest Oval Scallop with Pierce.  I love mixing and matching all of the awesome dies available from Rubbernecker!

Smile

This week at Creative Knockouts we want to see a sentiment on the front of your card.  So are you ready to enter our Something to Say challenge?

I used Emmi Loo - Just Me from Crafty Sentiments for my project.  She is colored with Copic markers and was cut out using the Silhouette.  I popped her onto a Martha Stewart doily tag that I had laying around because I decided not to use it on another project.  I used a stamp from a Denami Design Petit Four stamp set.  They are the perfect size for these awesome tags I found at Michaels.

Bright Birthday

This week at Crafty Gals, the theme is anything goes.  I have another birthday card to share.  Bet you didn't see that coming!

I used Felicidades (Congratulations) from Mari's Digis to make a birthday card for a co-worker.  Her favorite color is red, so I paired it with yellow for a bright and cheerful card.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Twinkle

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the theme is anything goes.

I am still working on my stash of birthday cards for my co-workers.  I am a little bit ahead of the game thankfully!  I thought this sweet Twinkle Fairy made a great birthday card.  The sentiment is computer generated.  Blue is my co-worker's favorite color, so I think this turned out perfectly.

You have a chance to win great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.

I can't wait to see your projects.

Hug in a Mug

It is my turn to feature over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog.  I am still loving the new coffee stamps so I had to pull them out again.

The image stamp is from the Coffee Blanket set and the sentiment is from the Coffee Set.  I colored the stamp with Copic markers and used the matching die set to cut it out.  I also used the Nested Banner Stitch dies on this project.

Sparkle and Shine

This week at Creative Knockouts the challenge theme is sparkle and shine.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I used Bethany's Balloons from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for my project.  She was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette.  The balloons have clear Wink of Stella.  The cloud was cut from glitter paper using the stitched cloud die from Rubbernecker Stamps.  For a bit of shine, I used a gold peel off sticker for the sentiment.

Hello

Hello Fabrika Fantasy fans.  I am super late with my project this month.  It has been a super crazy time for me lately, and I completely forgot I had a project due!  Then, my week was so busy, that even after I realized, I didn't have any time to work on one!  If you are ever in need of a quick project, I can recommend using one of Dimitri's pre-colored images!  The theme of our challenge this month is anything goes.  I can't wait to see yours.

This is Happy Chipmunk and he was beautifully colored by Dimitri.  All I did was print the image and use the Silhouette Cameo to print it out.  The die cutting of the clouds, sentiment, and background paper took longer than the image itself!  I used the Rubbernecker Stamps Small Cloud Stitch and Clouds dies to cut some white glitter paper.  The sentiment die is from Echo Park.

You have a chance to win some Fabrika Fantasy images for playing along.  You don't have to use a Fabrika Fantasy image, but if you do, you will be in a special drawing just for those projects using a Fabrika Fantasy image.

NEED Coffee!

It is my turn on the Rubbernecker Blog.  If you haven't noticed, I LOVE coffee!  In fact, I love it so much, my husband just bought a coffee roaster and 17 pounds of different kinds of green coffee beans for us to roast. Believe it or not, coffee does not smell that great while being roasted.  But as it cools, the smell becomes amazing!  When it is ground, it smells even better!

Since we have had so much fun roasting our own coffee, I figured a coffee themed card was a perfect idea.  I used the Coffee Set and the matching dies for this project.  The stamps were colored with copic markers and the coffee pot has some silver Wink of Stella for a touch of glimmer and shine.  I used the Nested Rectangle X Stitch Dies for a base mat and a Martha Stewart die cut doily for the next layer.

If you are on Facebook, come join us in the Rubbernecker Stamps Fans group.  It is a great place to meet other Rubbernecker Fans and enjoy some great eye candy.

Two Little Mice

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is for the kids.  We want to see your projects for kids.

What a sweet image this is!  This is Two Little Mice from All Dressed Up.  I have two girls that are grown.  When they were younger, they always thought the other was my "favorite."  Now that they are grown, they know better, but it is still a joke with them.  My original thought for a sentiment was "Today, you are my favorite."  And on the inside it was going to say, "We will have to see about tomorrow."  Instead, I just thought a mother's love was the important thing for a child.

This image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  The background is  gorgeous piece of copper vellum from Stampin' Up! that has been in my scrap box forever.  I love how you can see the pink through the open parts of the design.

Going Tropical

This week at Crafty Gals Corner the theme is Tropical Colors.  I can't wait to see all of the fun, bright colors.

I used Bee n Blossom from SheepSki Designs for my project.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a contrasting color blend on the flower and I love how it turned out.
