This week at Creative Knockouts the theme is Love Is In the Air.  And since it is Valentine's Day, it is of course the perfect them.  I hope your Valentine showed you a little love today!

This is Jurassic Love from The Paper Shelter.  The background paper comes with the image.  In addition, you get a colored composite of the image and paper, two colored images in PNG and JPG format, and two black and white images.  So in each pack you get 6 items!  There are so many wonderful themes to choose from!  I colored this image with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The dies are from the Spellbinders club kits from January 2018.  The heart arrow is from the Small Die Kit and the heart border is from the Large Die Kit.  The gold mirror card stock also came from one of the previous card kits.

Love Is In the Air

It is almost Valentine's Day and love is in the air.  So that makes it the perfect theme for the new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.  All you have to do is use a heart on your project.

I used Byron and LeAnn Winter from LeAnn's World 101 and colored it with Copic markers.  I used the Silhouette to cut it out.  I cut a scarf using a die from the Spellbinders Die of the Month club in a color to match the scarf in the image.

Love Always

This week at Crafty Sentiments is release week!  How exciting is that?!  Our theme is anything goes, so why not play along?

This is the new release, Love Always.  It will be in the shop soon.  I colored the stamp using Copic markers. The die is from the January 2017 Large Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders.  I used my favorite stitched Banner dies from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I didn't use a lot of embellishments because I wanted the stamp to take center stage.

You have a chance to win great prizes.  If you use a Crafty Sentiments product you have a chance to win even more prizes!

This month at the Fabrika Fantasy Challenge Blog, our theme is anything goes with the option of love.

I used Happy Lion and colored him with Copic Markers.  He was cut out using the Silhouette Cameo. The sentiment is from the Fox set from Rubbernecker Stamps and the Banner die is as well.  This card was quick and easy and I kept the embellishments to a minimum.

You have a chance to win some great prizes for playing along.  You don't have to use a Fabrika Fantasy image, but if you do, you can win even more because you will be entered in a drawing for the projects that used a Fabrika Fantasy image.

Hugs

This week at Creative Knockouts we want to see stitching on your projects for our In Stitches challenge.

This is Bundle of Hearts by Crafty Sentiments.  It is one of their digital images.  The faux stitching is actually part of the image!  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I decided to make a shaped card to match and used some dies to make layers.  The Spellbinders die has stitches as well.  And last but not least, I used a canvas banner from Maya Road that also has some stitching.  I stamped the sentiment from a DeNami Design petit fours stamp set using Staz On ink.

You have a chance to win 3 images from Crafty Sentiments for playing along.  You can click the badge below to check out what they have to offer.

Chocolate!

This week at Crafty Sentiments we have an anything goes challenge and a new release!  I am using one of the new release stamps for my project today.

This is Love & Chocolates.  It will be available in the shop soon.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  I love brown and pink, so that was my color palette for this sweet image.  I used an older style chipboard word from Make it Crafty.  I have hoarded these for so long, but thought this was the perfect time to use one.  I embossed it with gold embossing powder for just a bit of shine.  I also colored the ribbon on the candy box with a gold Wink of Stella pen for just a little more shimmer.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes just for playing along.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments product, but if you do, you will be entered in the drawing for the Crafty Sentiments favorite.

Hope you like the new release as much as I do!

Two Little Mice

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is for the kids.  We want to see your projects for kids.

What a sweet image this is!  This is Two Little Mice from All Dressed Up.  I have two girls that are grown.  When they were younger, they always thought the other was my "favorite."  Now that they are grown, they know better, but it is still a joke with them.  My original thought for a sentiment was "Today, you are my favorite."  And on the inside it was going to say, "We will have to see about tomorrow."  Instead, I just thought a mother's love was the important thing for a child.

This image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  The background is  gorgeous piece of copper vellum from Stampin' Up! that has been in my scrap box forever.  I love how you can see the pink through the open parts of the design.

Love & Cherish

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the challenge is anything goes.  The team used the image Love & Cherish for our projects this week.

I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it.  I didn't like the white background on the white die, so I hand cut an oval to add a thin teal border to the image.  The background paper has a pretty pearl sheen.  There is a little clear Wink of Stella on her head piece and her shoes.  Every bride should sparkle!

Hope to see you there!

Very Best!

There are so many cute new stamp sets being released by Rubbernecker Stamps.  You can see my project using Hippo over on the blog.

Hippo is a new clear stamp set.  These clear stamps make a crisp impression every time.  They clean up so easily too!  I stamped this sweet hippo from the set and then created a mask using a sticky note so I could stamp the flower.  This set comes with a number of little accessories for the hippos.  A little Copic coloring and it was done!  I also used the Nested Stitched Circle dies and the Nested Circle Scallop with Holes.  I bought a package of the heart dies when I was visiting family in Finland.  I lost the part of the package that had the name of the manufacturer though.  The sentiment is from the Best Friends Etc stamp set.

While you are over on the blog, check out the current challenge.  You can win cash to spend in the store! With all of the adorable new stamp sets, that is the perfect prize!

XOXO

Our new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner is to add a heart.  It is the season of love, so we want to see hearts!

This sweet penguin is from Cute as a Button stamps.  He was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The sentiment sticker is from the Spellbinders June 2017 card kit.  I thought it was the perfect match for this background paper that is from the Echo Park Yours Truly kit that is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.
