Cherish

Today is my day to be featured on the Rubbernecker Blog and I just had to use this sweet Love Birds stamp.

One of the things I love about using rubber stamps again is reviving all of the old techniques I learned ages ago.  I love digital stamps because of the ease of storage and the ability to resize them, but there is nothing quite like holding a rubber stamp in your hand and creating an image.  I used markers to ink the stamp so I could get two colors in one impression.  I thought the black and red color combo would make the stamp really pop out.  I love the way it turned out!  The sentiment comes from the Discover Word Set.

Don't forget you can join us over on the blog for our challenge.  The theme is Easter and you have 10 days to create something to play along.  You have the chance at a gift certificate for the shop, and you don't have to use a Rubbernecker Stamps stamp to play along.  Although, if you do, we would love to see it!

We are looking forward to seeing your project!

Friends

Hello everyone!  Crafty Gals Corner has a new challenge starting today and it is anything goes!  We always love to see what you come up with when it is anything goes!

I used Gello Giraffe and Friend from Kitty Bee Designs for my project.  I loved the way he turned out in these colors the last time, so I just had to do it again!  He and his little friend were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The papers are from Carta Bella's It's a Boy collection.  You can find them digitally on Snap Click Design.  Today is One Buck Wednesday!  My favorite day to shop the site!

Under the Sea

It is time for some new MoonFlower inspiration over on the MoonFlower blog.  It is my turn to host and I have a fun project using the new Lilly Mermaid.

I took my inspiration from a pretty well known mermaid.  Can you guess who I mean?!  I found myself singing the song Under the Sea as I was working on this project!  Lilly was colored with Copics and fussy cut by hand.  I didn't want to lose all of the bubbles surrounding her, so I chose to cut her by hand rather than use the Silhouette.  She has glass micro beads for all of the pearl bits around her tail and hair.  I think I will be finding those for weeks!

Why not join us in the MoonFlower Facebook group?  As part of the group you find out when the new releases hit the shop.  Andreia also does a flash sale or a giveaway now and then.  Most of all, we want to see your lovely projects.  We love to ooh and ahh over every single one of them.

Hippity Hop

Hello everyone!  Today begins the new challenge at the Crafty Sentiments Designs challenge blog.  The theme this week is Easter.

For my project I used Isobel Bunny Suit.  Unfortunately, the shop is experiencing some technical difficulties, so I cannot link you to where you can find the stamp.  I colored Isabel with Copic markers but I pieced her egg.  I managed to use up a couple of scraps of paper on this card.  I wish that actually made a dent in the number of scraps I have left!

You have a chance to win Crafty Sentiments images just for playing along.  If you are chosen as the random winner AND you have used a Crafty Sentiments stamp or image, you win extra prizes!  How fun is that?!

Hopefully the shop will be up soon so you can have a crafty browse around the shop.

Thank You!

It is time for the Sweet Sunday post over at Rubbernecker Stamps.  I decided to make a cheerful thank you card this week.

I had this scrap of polka dot paper left over from another project and I thought it would be the perfect starting place for this project.  I pulled out sweet little Clare and colored her with Copic markers to match the paper. The sentiment came from the Best Wishes set which is now available in clear.  You can also get a matching die set to cut it out!

Rubbernecker Stamps now has a challenge and we would love to see you play along.  You have the chance to win cash to use in the store.  All of the new clear stamps and dies have been released, so some extra cash would be an awesome thing!

Get Well

Welcome back Rubbernecker Fans! It is my turn to be featured over on the Rubbernecker blog. I made this card using the pill bottle from the new clear Get Well set.

I colored the stamp with Copic markers and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die from Echo Park.  The sentiment came from the Best Wishes set which is now in clear.  I cut the curved sentiment apart and stamped it in a straight line to fit my card.

All of the new clear sets are available in the shop along with their matching dies.  It is so exciting!  Don't forget to play along in the challenge because you have a chance to win a gift certificate for the Rubbernecker store.  Those clear sets and matching dies are waiting for you!  So what are you waiting for?!

Young Girl

Hello everyone.  It is time for a new challenge at Creative Knockouts and this week we challenge you to use borders.  I don't use mine often enough, so I was super happy to pull out one of my favorite border punches.

I used this sweet Young Girl stamp form AMB Illustrations.  I thought she was just perfect for a card with springy colors.  You could even use her for Easter with this gorgeous hat.  She is colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Our sponsor this week is AMB Illustrations and you have a chance to win 3  single packs or a trio, or a single and a combo.  So many choices!  Click the badge below to check out what is available in the shop.

Pretty Locks

Hello MoonFlower fans!  Sorry my post is late.  I completely lost track of the days!  But I have my project to show you!

I chose to work with Ashlee Faery Locks for my project because I thought she would make a pretty spring card.  I have wanted to tackle these curls for a while and I finally got my chance!  She was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.

Andreia has some gorgeous new designs in the shop.  If you want to know when the newest images are available, come join us in the MoonFlower Facebook group.  You get to know as soon as the images hit the shop and you get to see sneak peeks and have a chance at a giveaway from time to time.  We would love for you to stop by and say hi!

Floating

Hello everyone!  Welcome back to another challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  This week the challenge is to use buttons on your project.

I used this sweet image from All Dressed Up called Hot Air Balloons.  It was colored with Copics and I fussy cut it by hand.  I was digging through my stash of papers for another project and came across a pad that had this paper in it.  I just knew it was the perfect backdrop for this image.  I pulled my colors from the paper.

This week we have two fabulous sponsors for you.  Click the badges below to go shopping.

Flying High

This week brings the new challenge and the new release at Sami Stamps.  Sami had some commitments that delayed the release, but it was so worth it!  They are adorable!

I decided to use Playing with My Plane for my project.  The theme for this month is blue.  Unfortunately, my worst nightmare came true and I forgot about the theme until my card was half finished!  I did manage to add some blue though.

This cutie was colored with Copic markers and I used my brand new Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut her out.  I was concerned there would be a learning curve, but it was super simple.

You have all month to join in with the challenge.  Just remember to use a Sami Stamps image and, of course, use blue!  If you don't have a Sami Stamps image, just pop over to the shop and check out the current freebie!

Isobel

It is time for a new challenge and a new release at Crafty Sentiments.  The theme is anything goes so it will be really easy to play along.

This is Isobel Bunch of Flowers and she is the newest member of the Crafty Sentiments family. Isn't she sweet?! She was colored with Copic markers.  I can see myself using her for so many types of cars.  I made a thank you card, but she would be awesome for a birthday card, get well, thinking of you, friendship...so many things!  She will be available in the shop very soon!

You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments image or stamp to play along in the challenge, but if you do and you are picked as the random winner, you win extra prizes!  So use them if you've got them!

Friendship Blooms

Welcome to Rubbenecker Sweet Sunday!  This week has been all about the sneak peeks of the new clear sets coming mid-month.  I used the new set #3002 for this card.  This set also has matching dies which I used for the flowers at the top of the banner.  They cut neatly and perfectly the first time through the machine.

To create the basket of flowers, I stamped the front layer of flowers then created a mask for each flower using a sticky note.  Then I stamped another layer of flowers to make it look like they were behind.  Then I stamped the foliage.  I again created a mask for each of the sets of leaves from a sticky note.  These were difficult to fussy cut.  I could have used the die, but it would have left a border that would cause the basket to look funny.  Once masked, I stamped the basket and colored it with Copic markers.  The bands have silver Wink of Stella on them for some shimmer.  The sentiment also comes from the same stamp set.  I doodled the border with a gel pen.  I usually avoid doodliing because I normally don't like how it turns out, but I love this border.  If you do as well, there is exciting news...it could be a stamp in the Rubbernecker shop one day!

Don't forget our challenge on the blog.  You could win some cash to spend in the shop and with the new clear sets coming, that would be amazing!
