Bring May Flowers

This week at Crafty Sentiments our challenge is to use ribbon or lace.  Lucky for me, they are a favorite embellishment, so I used both!

I used Rainny Days for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers.  I added a little bit of silver Wink of Stella to her jacket buckles and the raindrops have a bit of clear on them.  The background paper is from Echo Park's Throughout the Year collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  Somehow, I managed to use all of the colors in this paper without knowing I was going to use it!

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.

Blast Off!

Over on the Rubbernecker Blog, my project features one of the new stamp sets, Lift Off.

This is such a fun set!  You get a space theme as well as an airplane theme.  It is like two stamp sets in one!  There are fun sentiments as well.  I used a few of the space themed stamps as well as stamping my sentiment on the moon.  All of the stamps were colored with Copic markers and cut out using the matching dies.  The stars are from the Over the Moon set and were stamped with white ink.  I just arranged all of them on the stamp and then stamped them at once.  The rocket and UFO have silver Wink of Stella as well for a little metallic shine.

Come visit us in the Rubbernecker Stamps Fans Facebook group.  We would love to have you stop in and say "hi".

Sweetie Pie

I hope you like doilies, because our new challenge at Creative Knockouts is Doily Delight.  Stop hoarding them and throw one or two or even three on your project this week!

This is Sweetie Pie from All Dressed Up Stamps.  She was colored with Copic markers and I fussy cut her by hand.  The sentiment is attached to the image, and I wanted to use it.  The Silhouette did not like it, so rather than fuss, I just fussy cut!

You have a chance to win two images from All Dressed Up for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out everything available in the shop.

April Showers

This week at Crafty Gals Corner our theme is April Showers.  Add an umbrella or a cloud to your project to play along.

I used Winter Warm Up from SheepSki Designs for my project.  I loved this image and thought it looked just like a blustery spring day, but then I clicked on the image in the shop.  She was wearing ice skates!  Not really what I had envisioned!  I was so taken with my original idea that I just decided to crop the image and show the versatility.  The background paper is from Echo Park's Splash collection that is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.  The rhinestone rain drop is actually from a dollar bin gem flower.  The petals are shaped just like a raindrop and are easily separated from the center.  The sentiment is a Silhouette cut file that was filled and printed rather than cut.  I used two separate dies for the rain clouds.  The first is a speech bubble die from Spellbinders.  The other is a stitched cloud die from Rubbernecker Stamps.

At Sea

Have you seen the new stamp sets over at Rubbernecker Stamps?!  If you haven't you need to pop over to the Rubbernecker Blog.  Today is my feature day using one of the new sets, Sea Set, and I know my teamies have made some fabulous projects with some of the other new sets.

All of the stamped elements on this card came from the Sea Set.  The best part is there is a matching die set so you can cut out all of the stamps quickly and easily.  I also used the new Waves Die Cut.  I turned the smaller waves upside down to give more of a feel of the rolling whitecaps you might see near the shore.  I don't have the Stitched Hills Die Cut so I used the Oval Small Stitch Die to create the bits of land.  The sentiment was stamped on the Small Cloud Stitch Die for the final element.  The background paper is from the Sun Kissed collection by Bo Bunny available digitally at Snap Click Supply.

Don't forget to pop into the Facebook group and say "hi".  We would love to see you and any projects you have made using Rubbernecker Stamps.

Spring Flowers

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is Spring Is on the Way.

I used Flowers for My Mommy from A Day for Daisies.  She was colored with Copics.  The background  paper is from the In the Meadow collection from Nitwit Collections.  I love their papers!  They look like quilting fabric!  I kept the card fairly simple so this sweet girl could take center stage.

You have a chance to win a gift certificate for $8 for the shop.  That is a great way to get your collection started.  Click the badge below to see the image I used plus all of the other awesome images in the shop.

Easter Flowers

The new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner is Easter Is on Its Way.  We want to see your Easter projects.

This is Lilly With Flowers from Crafty Sentiments Designs.  She is one of their digital images.  I thought her sweet face was so adorable.  I paired her with a paper from Echo Park's Happy Easter collection that is available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  A touch of silver Wink of Stella gives her buttons a little shine.
