Sweet Sloth

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is called a Charmed Life.  We want to see a charm on your project

This is Lazy Sloth from Imagine That.  I pulled out some dies from the July 2017 club kit from Spellbinders.  I kept the design fairly simple because of all of the dies.  Then of course, I had to have my charm.

You have a chance to win a $10 coupon to use in the shop.  This sweet image came with a bunch of sentiments and multiple digi files.  I couldn't decide what sentiment to use, so I will pick one when I decide how I will use this card.  You can click the badge below to check out the shop.

Snowdrop

Welcome back!  We have a great challenge for you this week at Creative Knockouts.  This week your challenge is to use stitching, faux or real, on your project.

This image is Snowdrop Bunny from Imagine That.  It comes in a large pack that has some colored images as well as black and white.  The pack also contains some images with word art too.  Check it out in the shop!  I colored the image with Copic markers.  I had to look up a snowdrop, because I have never seen one.  What a brave little flower to come up while the snow is still on the ground!  I love how the bunny ears and the snowdrop look like they have stitching on them!  I went with faux stitching because I just didn't have the energy to pull out the sewing machine!

You have a chance to win an awesome prize of a $10 gift certificate for the Imagine That shop.  Just click the badge below to see what is available.

Favorite Colors

This week at the Creative Knockouts, we have a challenge that is sure to please!  Use your favorite color combo on your project this week!  What colors get your creative juices flowing?  Like most people, my favorite color combo depends on the project.  For a little girl's project I love brown and pink.  Blue and brown are a favorite go-to for a little boy.  At Christmas, I tend toward burgundy and artichoke or pink and burgundy.  My favorite season of the year is fall and I absolutely love the colors especially the golden yellows and rusty reds.  It is one thing I really miss about living farther north.

This week I used Autumn from Imagine That.  It was a little difficult to think about a fall card when the air was so heavy and humid outside!  She and her furry friend were colored with Copic markers and I ended up using the Silhouette to cut her out because the one leaf ended up outside of the circle die.  This digi also comes with several sentiments.  I think I may use the sentiment "Piles of Smiles", but I haven't made up my mind yet.  I always wait to see what I am going to use the card for before adding a sentiment.

Our sponsor this week is, of course, Imagine That.  You have a chance to win a prize of a $10 gift certificate to the shop.  Get creating so you can get to shopping!  Click the badge below to take a look at all of the great digis on offer.

This week I used Emma from Imagine That! Digis by Kris.  She comes with several sentiments and I chose this one for my card.  I decided to do a little doodling to match the image.  I almost scrapped it after I doodled, but my teamies convinced me to leave the doodling.

Birthday Balloons

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge theme is Something to Say.  Your project must have a sentiment on it.

I used Chloe's Heart Balloons from Imagine That!  It was colored with Copics and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  The stamp comes with several sentiments you can use.   I never seem to have enough birthday cards, so I chose the one that could be used for a birthday. I think you could use it for any special celebration, though.  Since I haven't done one in a while, I used a side step card.  It gave me lots of space for embellishments!  You can find the tutorial here or a template here.

Our sponsor is Imagine That! and you have the chance to win a $10 gift certificate.  Click the badge below to check out the shop.
