Summer Fun

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our theme is all about summer.

I used Fun  Time and colored him with Copic markers.  The background paper is from Carta Bella's Beach Day collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply. I used a scrap of paper from Bo Bunny's Popsicle collection as well.

Over the Moon

It is my turn on the Rubbernecker blog.  I created this card using the sweet Over the Moon stamp set.

I colored the stamps using Copic markers and cut them out using matching dies.  I also used the Small Cloud Stitch Die and the Nested Oval X Stitch dies.  The paper is from Carta Bella It's a Boy collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

Best Friends

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is Fancy Flourishes. 

I used the image Best Friends from Fabrika Fantasy for my project this week.  The nice thing about Fabrika Fantasy images is that you always get a colored image as well as black and white.  The colored images are great for when you need a quick card.  I used the colored image for my project today because work has been crazy!  I also pulled out a die that had the most flourishes possible!

Unicorn Princess

At Crafty Gals Corner it is time for a little fun...Fun Folds that is!

I used Unicorn Princess from MoonFlower Digistamps for my card.  The fold I used is simple, but I think makes for a pretty unusual opening.

The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  There is clear Wink of Stella on the horns, silver on the mane, and gold on the jewelry and embroidery.

Hello Crafty Sentiments fans!  This week we are challenging you with pastel colors.

I used Isobel - Strawberry Cupcake for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers.  There is some silver Wink of Stella on the cupcake wrapper for a bit of shimmer.  The background paper is from Echo Park's Birthday Wishes - Girl, available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

Set Sail

Over on the Rubbernecker Blog, I have used the new Sea Set stamps for my project.

I colored the stamp with Copic markers and used the matching die set to cut it out.  I used the Nested Stitch Banner die for the sentiment because it reminded me of a boat flag!  The sentiment is from the set, but I cut the sentiment apart so I could have just the layout I wanted.  That is the best part about clear and unmounted rubber sets.  The Waves die made a great addition to the banner to tie it all together.

Too Long

Our challenge at Creative Knockouts is to create a funny card.  I love puns, so I thought this was the perfect image for this challenge.

I used Long-Necked Giraffe from JustMe Digital Stamps for my project.  This is a new artist for me, and I am totally sold!  There are so many punny and adorable images in the shop!  This one comes with 4 different images and two sentiments.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used the silhouette to cut it out.  I oversized it to give the illusion of height.  With that long neck, the punny sentiment is perfect!

It is time for the new challenge at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  I hope you will play along.

I used Baked You a Cake from Polkadoodles for my project.  I had some technical difficulties and had to fussy cut her by hand.  But it all worked out in the end.  The background paper is from Nitwit Collections' Happy Bornday.  The sentiment is simply one of the word strips cut from a left over scrap
