Snow Fun

This month at Crafty Gals Corner, our challenge is Snow Much Fun!  We want to see your winter fun.  We don't get any snow where I live, which is fine with me!  Winter stamps and images are about as close as I want to get!  We lived in the snow and cold for a long time.  I really don't enjoy it.

I used Having Fun from Crafty Sentiments Designs for my project.  It was colored with Copic markers and some silver Wink of Stella on the bucket.  The word "snow" was die cut from glitter paper and is a bit textured like snow!

Recipe Card

We have a fun, new challenge for you at Creative Knockouts this week.  We want you to get cooking in your craft room using our recipe challenge.  Use 1 image, 1 sentiment, 2 patterned papers, and three embellishments to cook up your new project.

I used an image and sentiment from the April Showers set from Jan's Digi Stamps for my recipe card.  The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The raindrop gem is actually a petal from a flower that was broken off to make the raindrop.

You have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate from Jan's Digi Stamps just for playing along.  You can click the badge below to pop over to the shop and have a look around.

Inside Job

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge to you is to finish the inside of your card.  I almost never finish the inside of my card when I first make them.  I usually wait to see what I am going to use it for.  So this was a challenge for me.

I used Cupcake Mouse from Mo Manning for my project.  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette cameo.  He has some silver Wink of Stella on the stars of his cupcake for a little extra shimmer.

For the inside, I repeated the image but just in black and white.  I also repeated the silver Wink of Stella.  I used some of the papers from the front and a glittery star to finish.

You have a chance to win a $6 gift certificate from our sponsor, Di's Digi Stamps.  You can click the badge below to check out the shop.

Yippee Skippy!

This week at Crafty Sentiments we have an Anything Goes challenge for you.

I used Skip Skip for my project and colored her with Copic markers.  I kept the design fairly simple this week.  I have been working a lot of over time at work and it is severely diminishing the amount of crafty time I have!  I used the cross stitch die and stitched banner dies from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I like the layers of stitching!  The scalloped die is from My Favorite things.  There is a touch of silver Wink of Stella on her buttons.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.

I hope to see you there!

Happy Birthday, Cupcake!

This week at Creative Knockouts, we want you to make or use a tag on your project.

I used Birthday Elephant Sitting With a Cupcake from Drawn by Krista for the challenge.  I just happened to have this little cutie printed and colored already!  The image was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette.  The sentiment is from a Spellbinders set that I got free with my kit club order.

You have a chance to win a $25 Close to My Heart from our team leader, Kelly!

Over the Moon

It is my turn on the Rubbernecker blog.  I created this card using the sweet Over the Moon stamp set.

I colored the stamps using Copic markers and cut them out using matching dies.  I also used the Small Cloud Stitch Die and the Nested Oval X Stitch dies.  The paper is from Carta Bella It's a Boy collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

Set Sail

Over on the Rubbernecker Blog, I have used the new Sea Set stamps for my project.

I colored the stamp with Copic markers and used the matching die set to cut it out.  I used the Nested Stitch Banner die for the sentiment because it reminded me of a boat flag!  The sentiment is from the set, but I cut the sentiment apart so I could have just the layout I wanted.  That is the best part about clear and unmounted rubber sets.  The Waves die made a great addition to the banner to tie it all together.

Blast Off!

Over on the Rubbernecker Blog, my project features one of the new stamp sets, Lift Off.

This is such a fun set!  You get a space theme as well as an airplane theme.  It is like two stamp sets in one!  There are fun sentiments as well.  I used a few of the space themed stamps as well as stamping my sentiment on the moon.  All of the stamps were colored with Copic markers and cut out using the matching dies.  The stars are from the Over the Moon set and were stamped with white ink.  I just arranged all of them on the stamp and then stamped them at once.  The rocket and UFO have silver Wink of Stella as well for a little metallic shine.

Come visit us in the Rubbernecker Stamps Fans Facebook group.  We would love to have you stop in and say "hi".
