Miss Mini Fairy Princess

This week at Creative Knockouts, the challenge is to use lots of layers.  Make sure you pile them on!

This is Miss Mini Fairy Princess from Hetty Clare.  She was colored using Copic markers.  I used one of my brand new Die-Namics dies from My Favorite Things.  I absolutely love these stitched scalloped nested dies.  I have added several shapes to my collection!

Tag, You're it!

The next challenge we have for you at Crafty Gals Corner is to create or use a tag on your project.

I decided to use the sweet Baby Elephant image from Twinkle Lane designs for my project.  I created a tag, but I wanted a fun shape so used a large Spellbinders die for a base.  It just so happens that one of my co-workers is expecting, so this was a good opportunity to get ahead!

You have a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors by playing along.  Click the badges below to check out their shops and give them some love.

Spring Has Sprung

Welcome to the next challenge at Crafty Sentiment Designs.  Our challenge for you this week is to make a project with a spring theme.  Spring has already started in my neck of the woods and the flowers are starting to bloom.  Hopefully it will last and we won't have sudden cold weather again.

I used Lilly Fairy for my project and colored her with Copic markers.  She has the sweetest face!  Some pretty flowers and floral papers complete the spring theme.  I chose this stamp because, as a kid, when the Lily of the Valley would bloom, I knew winter was almost over!

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.

Springtime

Wow!  I cannot believe it is time for another post over on the Rubbernecker Blog.  It feels like I just did this!

This week I used one of the sweet stamps from the Fox set.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the matching die set.  The butterfly is also from the set as well as the sentiment.  I used the Circle Scallop with Holes dies as well as the Stitched Banner dies.  Some bling and lace finish it off nicely.

Come join us in the Rubbernecker Stamps Fans Facebook group.  We would love to see you there.

Jurassic Love

This week at Creative Knockouts the theme is Love Is In the Air.  And since it is Valentine's Day, it is of course the perfect them.  I hope your Valentine showed you a little love today!

This is Jurassic Love from The Paper Shelter.  The background paper comes with the image.  In addition, you get a colored composite of the image and paper, two colored images in PNG and JPG format, and two black and white images.  So in each pack you get 6 items!  There are so many wonderful themes to choose from!  I colored this image with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The dies are from the Spellbinders club kits from January 2018.  The heart arrow is from the Small Die Kit and the heart border is from the Large Die Kit.  The gold mirror card stock also came from one of the previous card kits.

You have a chance to win 3 images from The Paper Shelter for playing along this week.  Click the badge below to go to the shop to make your wish list!

Love Is In the Air

It is almost Valentine's Day and love is in the air.  So that makes it the perfect theme for the new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.  All you have to do is use a heart on your project.

I used Byron and LeAnn Winter from LeAnn's World 101 and colored it with Copic markers.  I used the Silhouette to cut it out.  I cut a scarf using a die from the Spellbinders Die of the Month club in a color to match the scarf in the image.

Yay Dad!

We have another new release for you at Crafty Sentiments.  I have made a project with one of the new release images, No 1 Dad.  You will be able to find him in the shop soon.

I always color first and then look for paper.  This can be a problem sometimes because it can take me a while to find paper I want to use.  Luckily, I found this paper in a stack from DCWV called Weekend Neutrals.  It had exactly the tones I was looking for.  This sweet boy was colored with Copic markers.  How nice of him to bring the newspaper and coffee!

This is also the start of the new challenge.  This week the theme is to add flowers.  I hope you will play along!
