Smile

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, the challenge is anything goes.  Super easy, so I hope you will play along

This week I used Smiling Flowers from QKR Stampede.  They were colored with Copic markers and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  I decided to make a cute little scene for these cheerful flowers and use a die cut sentiment.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.  Be sure to visit and give them some love.

Seeing Double

Hello!  It is time for the Crafty Gals Corner challenge!  Our challenge this week is Emboss It.  We want to see embossing of some sort on your project.  And no...you aren't seeing double!!  I have created two projects for this challenge.  We have a brand new sponsor here in the Crafty Gals Corner so I created an extra project to celebrate!  See if you can guess from the picture who the sponsor is and then read on for the answer!

This project is using Cadence from Nikki Burnette.  Nikki has such a wide range of images and this one just leaped off the page for me.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  She has a bit of clear Wink of Stella on her wings.  Because as I have said before, fairy wings should be sparkly.

And this is our new sponsor!  Can you guess the company from the image?  If you guessed The Paper Shelter, you would be correct!  This is Cirque and she is fabulous!  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  All of the images at The Paper Shelter come with their very own paper, a colored and black and white version of the stamp, and one composite with the colored image and the paper combined!  Such a great value.  I have been a fan of The Paper Shelter for a long time and I am so excited they will be sponsoring the Crafty Gals Corner!

So you have seen our two fabulous sponsors and I know you want to pop over and shop, so click the badges below.  The prizes they are offering to the winners are listed below as well.

Imagine

Hello everyone!  This week I am back with another challenge from Crafty Sentiments Designs.  The challenge is anything goes, so it is really easy to play along.

This week I used School Book for my project.  I didn't really want to make a back to school card with her.  She is just too sweet!  I loved reading as a kid and so did my kids.  The best thing about reading is using your imagination, so this card came from that idea.  She was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I have really got to learn how to use my PixScan mat for my Silhouette!

You have a chance to win three digital images of your choice, so play along.  There are so many wonderful images in the shop.  I know you can find at least three to add to your wish list.  Click the badge below to pop over to the shop and take a look.

My Peeps!

It is time for another new release at Sami Stamps!  This one is so adorable and just in time for the back to school season!  Plus these images will be just perfect for all of those teacher gifts this year.

I used Pencil Peeps from the new release.  I always try to get extra mileage from my stamps and thought this image was perfect for just dropping a note to a friend.  It started out as a CAS card, but true to form, it didn't really stay that way.  I just never know when to leave enough alone!  I used my Silhouette software to create the sentiment.  I used a curly doodle from one design and added it to my typed sentiment.  Then I printed it out!

Don't forget we still have our Anything Goes challenge this month.  You can find the post here and link up your Sami Stamps project for the chance to add to your collection.  I just know you will all have something fabulous to share!

Tag! You're It!

Hello!  Welcome back to the Creative Knockouts challenge!  This week our challenge for you is to make a tag.  It can be anything you want, as long as it is a tag.

I used Back to School Book Bag from The Stamping Boutique for my tag.  I printed it about 4" high and made it the tag.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut using the Silhouette Cameo.  I also cut a back for it from patterned card stock.  I forgot to take a picture of it though!  I didn't forget to take a picture of a surprise though!  This tag has a message!

I used a craft knife to cut the flaps of the backpack open and printed a sentiment from the Silhouette store.  I also cut a middle layer so the backpack would have a blue lining.  I finished the tag with some fun fibers and the perfect scrap of ribbon I had laying around in my scrap bin!  I was so excited when I saw it!  I don't even know where it came from. =P

Our fabulous sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique which also has Glitterbabe designs.  So you have the ability to choose from either line if you win.  So pop on over to the shop by clicking the badges below to check it out for yourself.

We're Back!

So sorry for all of the confusion last week!  We were unable to post our challenge at Crafty Gals Corner due to illnesses and technical difficulties.  But we are back this week and ready to go!  The good news is, I have two projects to show you!  Since we missed last week, we have two challenges in one this week.  You can choose to create for either theme or both!

The first challenge is a bingo challenge.  You need to get three in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.  My row is Ribbon, Die Cuts/Punches and pearls.  Three of my favorite things!

This is Chastity Steampunk 2 from Scrapper's Delights.  She was so much fun to color and embellish!  I found these awesome clocks and knew they were just perfect for her!  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I also used an old pull chain from a ceiling fan to finish off the embellishments.

The second challenge is Any Holiday.

This is Kathy from Jiggery Makery.  She comes with another sweater design and a blank sweater that you can design yourself.  Ugly Christmas sweaters are all the rage right now, but I remember having to wear them when they weren't!  I think I had that very same expression!  I colored her using Copic markers and use the Silhouette to cut her out.  I crocheted the flower myself.  I went a little crazy and I have so many of them!

We have three wonderful sponsors this week since we are combining two weeks of challenges.  So you have lots of chances to win.

Stay Strong!

I have some exciting news!  This is my first post as a design team member for Sami Stamps!  I am so excited!  Sami has a wonderful new release for you called Strength.

Aren't they just wonderful?!  I am sure you can find all kinds of inspiring projects to use them on.

For my project, I used Strong.  I thought this would make a great card for someone who is going through a struggle, so I wanted cheerful colors.  I colored the digi with Copic markers and used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  You can see all of the projects from my new teamies by checking out the Sami Stamps blog.

The challenge this month is anything goes, so you can make any kind of project you want as long as you use a Sami Stamps image.  There are lots to choose from in the shop and there is always a freebie or two lurking around.

Why don't you get crafty and join us this month?!

OMG!

This week at Crafty Sentiments Designs, our challenge to you is to use die cuts.  I don't know about you, but I love them!  I love the dimension you can get with a die in a manual machine, but I also love the versatility of using an electronic machine.  This week I used both!

This week I chose the digital stamp Oh My! to work with.  I knew I wanted her to hang out of my die and, for me, it is so much easier to achieve this effect using a digital stamp and the Silhouette Cameo.  I can never get this technique to work well using a manual machine.  This little cutie is colored with Copic markers to match some of my favorite My Mind's Eye paper, Stella & Rose Mabel.  I will be so sad when I have used it all.  Good thing I have purchased extras!

You have a chance to win 3 digital stamps just for playing along in the challenge.  Please make sure your project fits the theme, though.  Any that do not, will not be eligible to win.  Click the badge below to pop over and check out all of the goodies on offer in the shop.

This week is also the new release!  Check out all of the sneak peeks happening on the inspiration blog by clicking the badge on the top of my sidebar.  So many adorable newbies popping into the shop soon!

Hot! Hot! Hot!

It is time for another challenge at the Corrosive Challenge.  This month our challenge to you is to create a project that is hot!  We are celebrating summer and we want to see your take.

I used Holidays by Mari Digis for my project this challenge.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used digital papers from the Splash collection by Echo Park for the sunshine and water layers.  You can find them on Snap Click Supply Co.  I tore a scrap of brown paper that looked like sand to me for the last layer.

This month we have two fabulous sponsors.  Click the badges to explore each shop.

Fairy Thoughts

Hello!  Welcome back to another Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends challenge.  Our challenges are anything goes, so pop into that crafty space and give the challenge a go!

I have used Hidden Fairy from The Stamping Boutique for my project this week.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  Once I started using the blue markers, I wasn't sure I would find any paper in my stash to match.  Considering my stash, I guess I shouldn't have worried.  I found the perfect color scraps and got a few more out of my scrap basket.  I have been a fan of The Stamping Boutique for many years.  I love the twinkles that Tracey adds to her designs.  You can always tell them a mile away!  I didn't have a flower to match my bold blue, so I colored a white rose with my Copic marker and spritzed it with blending fluid.  And there you have it: a matching rose!

Our sponsors this week have been so wonderfully generous.  Wait until you see the prizes in store for you!  You can click each badge below to do a little shopping and wish list making.
