Happy Blogaversary!

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner we are celebrating our third blogaversary.  How do we celebrate?  Well with a blog hop of course!  We have ten amazing sponsors for this challenge so there are a lot of prizes to be won.  The theme is anything goes so it is really easy to play along.

This sweet Snow Penguin is from Kitty Bee Designs.  I know Christmas is over, but a co-worker requested a Christmas card using this image when she saw me coloring it at work.  So he got to go to someone special.  He was colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is a Silhouette cut file that I filled and printed rather than cut.  The snowball is actually a puff from EK Success that is intended to be used for chalking.  It made the perfect snowball embellishment!

Jingle Bell

This week at Crafty Sentiments Designs we would like for you to use snowflakes on your project.

I used Snowman Bell for my project this week.  This is one of the digi stamps on offer at Crafty Sentiments.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  His bell has a little silver Wink of Stella for some shimmer and shine.  The hat and scarf were cut from glitter paper for some extra sparkle! I used the Spellbinders November small die kit of the month.  You can find out about the subscription kits here.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments product to win, but if you do, you could win even more!

Merry and Bright

Welcome back to the last Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post of the year.  We will be taking a short break for the holidays, and be back with more inspiration in the new year.

I used Mr. Stix for my project today.  He is such a sweet snowman!  The sentiment is Merry & Bright.  I kept this one kind of simple. He was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut by hand.  A few pearls, some lace, and May Arts velvet ribbon and this card was done!

Our challenges will begin again in the new year so keep watch for the next one.

Merry Christmoose!

Can you believe we have already finished this week?!  And since it is Friday, it is time for my feature over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog and I chose this stamp for my project

This is Moose With Lights and he has been colored with Copic Markers.  I cut him out using a stitched rectangle frame like this one in the shop.  He also has a matching die for quick and easy fussy cutting.  The lights were colored with Spica pens for some great sparkle.

Our challenges will start up again after the holidays.  Be sure to check back to see what theme we start the year with.

Winter Wonderland

This week at Creative Knockouts, we want to see your winter wonderland projects.  So think cool thoughts and get creating!

I used Christmas Fairy from Fabrika Fantasy Stamps for my project.  I colored her in some icy cool colors and cut her out using the Silhouette.  She has some clear Wink of Stella on her wings and her hair.  I used silver Wink of Stella for her wand.  She is so shimmery and sparkly in real life.  I cut the snowflakes using white glitter paper and the flower is glittered as well!  I am sure I will be finding flakes of glitter on my face for days! =P  The sentiment is from Endless Creations and Everyday Cards

You have a chance to win 3 images from our sponsor, Fabrika Fantasy.  You can click the badge below to pop over to the shop and have a look around.  Dmitry also has an amazing calendar he has been putting together.  Check it out!

Snowy Friends

It is time for a new challenge at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  Our challenge is always anything goes, so why not play along.

I used Snowman Friends from Polkadoodles for my project.  I wanted a more non-traditional color scheme and found this paper from the My Mind's Eye Holly collection.  It was exactly what I was looking for.  I pulled my colors for the image from the paper.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.

You have a chance to win some awesome prizes from our fabulous sponsors.  Click the badges below to pop over and shop.

Peace

Sami's back after having her sweet little bundle of joy so it is time for a new release and a new challenge at Sami Stamps.  The new image is so sweet!

Isn't it super adorable?!  The challenge this week is a tough one!  Let's see your white on white projects.

I colored Little Holly Unicorn with Copic markers and used the Silhouette to cut it out.  The embossing folder is actually one that is a frame, and I never thought I would use it.  I got it in a pack with three others, but it was the perfect complement for this image.  I printed the sentiment on my computer.

You have a chance to win some Sami Stamps prizes for playing along.  Just be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible to win.

Flying By

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, the challenge is anything goes.  It is an easy one so you can join in while you are prepping for the holiday!

This is Flying Birthday Girl from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  She will make a great addition to my birthday image stash.  I wasn't sure what colors I was going to use until I got started coloring.  This makes paper choices a bit tricky, but I found the perfect match.  The sentiment was printed on the computer.

You have a chance to win a lovely prize from our sponsor this week.  Be sure to pop by the shop to have a look around.  There are a lot of products available!

Mmmm...Pie!

It is time for the new challenge at Crafty Sentiments.  This week is anything goes.

This week I chose Let's Have Pie for my project.  I colored the stamp with Copic markers and fussy cut the stamp.  The holidays always mean baking!  I wanted a homey feel so I used this paper from NitWit Collections Ginger Fellas paper pack.

You have a chance to win great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  Use a Crafty Sentiments product and you could win more.

'Tis the Season

Hello Rubbernecker Fans.  It is time for another Sweet Sunday.  Here is the project I made to inspire you!

I used Caroling Penguins and colored them with Copic markers.  I fussy cut the stamp, but there is also a matching die available in the shop.  There wasn't a lot of coloring that needed to be done, so this stamp would make a quick card.  I used Tis the Season for the sentiment and created a little winter outdoor scene using some landscape dies I have.

Don't forget to play in our challenge!  You could win and then you can shop!

Frosty

For my feature over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog, I am moving into the winter season.  I am not quite ready for Christmas cards, so winter it is!

This stamp is Frosty in Frame Small and he was colored with Copic markers.  I used the Snowflake Background and stamped it in silver ink for a bit of sparkle and shine.  Both snowflakes were in my scraps box and worked so well for this card.

The small snowflake was created by wadding up some tinfoil and flattening it back out.  I took a piece of vellum and stuck it to the tin foil and punched out snowflakes.  The tinfoil gives the snowflake some weight and texture!

Don't forget to check out our challenge.  You have a chance to win Rubbernecker Stamps cash to spend in the store.  Hope to see you there!
