Summer Fun

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the challenge is Anything Goes.

For my project, I used Teddy Jack - Bucket and Spade.  In my neck of the woods, summer has arrived and it is time to hit the beach!  I colored this sweet bear with Copic markers.  I didn't have a sand castle embellishment, so I used a Cuttlebug Embossable and an embossing folder that kind of looked like sand.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty sentiments prizes for playing along.

Walkies

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge is Embossing Delights.  Use some type of embossing on your project.

I used Walkies from SheepSki Designs for my project.  Love this gnome walking his caterpillar!  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  Looking at it now, I wish I had cut out the extra white.  I used different embossing folders to create the scene for these two.

Sweet Faerie

This month at Crafty Gals Corner, the challenge is for the ladies!

I used Spring Faerie from MoonFlower Digital Stamps for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  Love her in these colors!  the border is actually a heart border punch, but I only wanted the bottom of the heart to show.

Flowers for You

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our theme is anything goes.

This stamp is called For You Mum.  I thought it would make a great Mother's Day card, but then realized this post would be after Mother's Day!  This stamp works for so many occasions though.  I use Copic markers to color the stamp.  The background paper has gorgeous rose gold foil accents you can just see at the top of the card and so do the paper straws.

Stop and Smell the Flowers

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge is to use your favorite embellishment.

This image is Bertha's Bloomin' Box from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  I wanted to use a backround paper that kind of looks like a wall.  I found this weathered board paper in the Flock Together collection from Gennifer Bursett available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  I thought the colors were so fun and fit this lady's personality.  My favorite embellishments are lace, ribbon, and buttons.  I got two of the three in this card!  The sentiment is a sticker from a Spellbinders card kit of the month.

You have a chance to win two images for playing along.  Click the badge below to go check out all of Bertha's friends on the website.
