Out of Jail

This week for my feature on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog, I have pulled out my coffee stamps again.  I just can't get enough of these stamp sets!

I used the cup stack from the Coffee Blanket set and paired it with a red rubber sentiment called Out of Jail.  I used the matching die set to cut it out.  It was embossed with gold embossing powder.  In case you can read it it says "I have one cup of coffee each morning to start the day off right.  The other ones are to keep me out of jail, form sentences, and fuel my razor sharp wit."  Anyone that knows me well enough, would say this sentiment fits me to a tee!  I used the coffee bean as an accent as well.  The cup stack was colored with Copic markers and has a little gold and silver Wink of Stella here and there for a bit of sparkle.

While you are over on the blog, check out what my teamies have come up with.  I am sure you will love it!

Sicara

This week at Crafty Gals the theme of our challenge is to use Halloween colors on your project.  If you are going to use Halloween colors, you may as well make a Halloween card!

I think my favorite Halloween color combo is purple and black, if you couldn't tell.  I colored Sicara Witch from Scrap n' Dipity using Copic markers.  I kept mostly to purple and black for this card but added a little green for her hair and some orange for a bright pop.  The background paper is from Nancy Rowe Janitz' Oct 31 collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

Jasmin

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the challenge is anything goes.  Since it is still October, I decided to go with another adorable witch stamp.

This is Jasmin the Witch and she was colored with Copic markers.  She has a background paper from the Fancy Pants Oct 31 collection available digitally from Snap Click Supply.  I kept it fairly simple with just some ribbon so she could steal the show.  The sentiment is from Rubbernecker Stamps.  Unfortunately, this set is retired, but you can pop over and see what is available.

We always love to see your projects so I hope you will play along with us.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments product, but if you do you have a chance to win even more.

Hope to see you there!

Birthday Tree

This week on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog, I am showcasing this adorable stamp, Birthday Tree Party.  The stamp was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.

I used the Best Wishes stamp set for the sentiment.  I cut the Happy Birthday sentiment apart so I could stamp them separately. I used the Small Cloud Stitch die to cut them out.  I matted the stamp using the Nested Marquee die cut.  The paper is from Samantha Walker's Party Critters collection which is available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

You can join us in the Facebook group if you use Facebook.  If you are on Instagram, they will also be hosting a challenge there.  Check out all of the details on the Instagram page..

Hello Fall

This week at Creative Knockouts our theme is Fall.  We want to see your fall colors, fall images, fall everything!  I love the colors of fall but I don't get them where I live.  I can't wait to see them on all of your projects.

This is Autumn Breeze from The Paper Shelter.  She is colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a little gold Wink of Stella on the embroidery of her dress, but it was impossible to capture in a picture.

You have a chance to win 3 images from The Paper Shelter for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out all of the gorgeousness at the shop.  You get a black and white image and a colored image in both .png and .jpg format, a background paper, and a composite of the colored image and the background paper together!  It is such a great value for the money!  Right now, they have some Halloween images on sale.  I am going to go fill up my cart once I finish this post!

A Little Laid Back

The next challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is fancy folds.  I don't have much of an arsenal when it comes to fancy folds, so I took to the internet to find something.  I found a blog post about a diagonal gate fold card that looked interesting but was very simple to create. Thank you for the inspiration Queen B Creations!

The great thing about this fancy fold is it just takes two scores and one cut to create.

The image I used is Laid Back Witch from The Paper Shelter.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I wanted to use the gorgeous paper that came with her for this card, but because of the way the opening is cut, I didn't think it would look right.  I used the witch hat die to make a closure for the card because it wants to spring open.

To create this card, simply score an 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock down the center of each side.  You will score at 4.25" on the short side and 5.5" on the long side.  Then cut the piece of cardstock on the diagonal.  Now you have two cards ready to go for this super easy fun fold.

You have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate from The Paper Shelter this challenge.  Click the badge below to check out the shop.  There are so many fabulous images and they all come with a paper, colored and black and white images, and a composite to fit all of your crafting needs.

Ruby

Good morning Li'l Patch fans!  It is time for the new challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends blog and I have my inspiration post for you.

This is Ruby Flowers and she is from Polkadoodles.  I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I just realized she is kind of floating because I forgot to add a shadow on the ground.  I will have to fix that later!

You have a chance to win a gift certificate for £6.75 to use at the Polkadoodles store.  Click the badge below to check out everything they have.  In fact, they have just added Pink Gem Designs to the Polkadoodles family!

Hope to see you there!

Winter Is Coming

This month at the Fabrika Fantasy challenge blog, the theme is Christmas or Winter. I am not ready to make Christmas cards, so I went with the winter theme.

I used Winter Games 1 and colored it with Copic markers.  I found this cozy plaid paper in my stash and it just felt like the perfect background!  The image was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  There is a little silver Wink of Stella on the dog tag and the coat buttons and a little clear on the snowball.  The sentiment was cut from some white glitter paper, so it sparkles like snow as well.

You have a chance to win fabulous Fabrika Fantasy prizes for playing along.  Use a Fabrika Fantasy image and you could win even more!

Devilish Dog

The challenge this month at Fabrika Fantasy is Halloween.  We want to see your Halloween projects.

I used Halloween Dog for my project.  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I decided on a non-traditional color scheme to match the costume on the dog.  The sentiment die came from the September die kit from Spellbinders.  His pitchfork and costume has silver Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle and shine.

You have a chance to win some great Fabrika Fantasy prizes for playing along.  You don't have to use a Fabrika Fantasy image to play along, but if you do, you will be entered into the drawing for all projects that used a Fabrika Fantasy image.
