Dream Big

Hello!  It is my day over on the Rubbernecker Blog!  I have an adorable new stamp to show you!  This sweet bunny is from the new clear set called Over the Moon.  I will be using this set a lot over the coming weeks!

3206 Over The Moon Clear set

The sweet bunny was colored using Copic markers and cut out using the matching die set.  She is swinging her legs from the Nested Marquee 2 Stitch die.  The largest was used as a background and a smaller one for the sentiment that also comes with the Over the Moon set.

I hope you enjoyed my bit of inspiration for the week.  If you would like more, join us in the Facebook group or browse the gallery over on the blog.

Friend

This week at Crafty Sentiments, we have a shaped card challenge for you.  No square or rectangle cards for this challenge!

I used Isobel from the Friendships Set 4 set and colored her with Copic markers.  I used a Silhouette cut file called Nested Stitched Fancy Labels to create the card base and the background layer.  I thought this was a super fun shape.  I had to get more creative with my layout though!

You have a chance to win some great prizes for playing along.

Hope to see you there!

Good Idea!

It is time for my feature over at the Rubbernecker Stamps blog.

For my project this week I used a stamp and sentiment from the Coffee Set.  I used one of the smaller stamps from the set as an embellishment.  Both stamps were cut out using the matching die set.  I cut a mat from a piece of cardstock I had embossed with a chevron embossing folder using the Scalloped Oval with Pierce dies.  I cut out the sentiment using the same die set.

You should pop over to the blog and see what my teammates have made this week.  There is a lot of inspiration to be had over there.  If you are on Facebook, you can check out the group for even more inspiration.

Top o' the Mornin'

It is time for another challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  This week the challenge is Luck of the Irish.  We want to see a shamrock or clover on your project.

I used Coffee or Tea Panda from Kitty Bee Designs.  I placed him on a background paper from Nitwit Collections' Bit O' Blarney papers.  I cut out a shamrock from a scrap and placed it over the heart on the panda's cup.  The sentiment was created using the Silhouette software.  It was a cut file that is filled and printed.

Bunch of Bears

For my project on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog, I pulled out a stamp I have had for a while but didn't ever get around to inking up.

This is Bunch of Bears and it was colored using Copic markers.  Thank goodness there are so many varieties of brown!  The stamp was cut out using the matching die and matted with one of the Nested Oval X Stitch dies.  Then I cut out another mat using the Nested Oval Scalloped dies.  It just didn't have enough detail behind the cross stitch die so I used one of the Nested Oval Small Stitch dies and ran it through my Cuttlebug on top of my embossing mat.  It gave the perfect embossed detail!  The sentiment is from the Freehand Border Phrase set.  I stamped just the word "friendship" from one of the stamps onto a banner tag.

Don't forget to share your Rubbernecker Stamps projects in the Facebook group.  We love to see them!
