Flying By

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, the challenge is anything goes.  It is an easy one so you can join in while you are prepping for the holiday!

This is Flying Birthday Girl from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  She will make a great addition to my birthday image stash.  I wasn't sure what colors I was going to use until I got started coloring.  This makes paper choices a bit tricky, but I found the perfect match.  The sentiment was printed on the computer.

You have a chance to win a lovely prize from our sponsor this week.  Be sure to pop by the shop to have a look around.  There are a lot of products available!

Mmmm...Pie!

It is time for the new challenge at Crafty Sentiments.  This week is anything goes.

This week I chose Let's Have Pie for my project.  I colored the stamp with Copic markers and fussy cut the stamp.  The holidays always mean baking!  I wanted a homey feel so I used this paper from NitWit Collections Ginger Fellas paper pack.

You have a chance to win great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  Use a Crafty Sentiments product and you could win more.

'Tis the Season

Hello Rubbernecker Fans.  It is time for another Sweet Sunday.  Here is the project I made to inspire you!

I used Caroling Penguins and colored them with Copic markers.  I fussy cut the stamp, but there is also a matching die available in the shop.  There wasn't a lot of coloring that needed to be done, so this stamp would make a quick card.  I used Tis the Season for the sentiment and created a little winter outdoor scene using some landscape dies I have.

Don't forget to play in our challenge!  You could win and then you can shop!

Frosty

For my feature over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog, I am moving into the winter season.  I am not quite ready for Christmas cards, so winter it is!

This stamp is Frosty in Frame Small and he was colored with Copic markers.  I used the Snowflake Background and stamped it in silver ink for a bit of sparkle and shine.  Both snowflakes were in my scraps box and worked so well for this card.

The small snowflake was created by wadding up some tinfoil and flattening it back out.  I took a piece of vellum and stuck it to the tin foil and punched out snowflakes.  The tinfoil gives the snowflake some weight and texture!

Don't forget to check out our challenge.  You have a chance to win Rubbernecker Stamps cash to spend in the store.  Hope to see you there!

Blessed

Welcome to a special Thanksgiving post for Rubbernecker Stamps.  I wanted to try something a little different and use a stamp that wasn't a traditional Thanksgiving stamp.  This is what I came up with.

I used Daisies and colored them like Black-Eyed Susans.  To me they just feel like fall.  I cut the image out using a stitched rectangle die like the one you can find in the shop.  I also used Watercolor Stripes with Versamark ink to add a little interest to the top panel of the card.  The sentiment came from the Best Friends Etc stamp set. I cut the word "blessed" from one of the phrases in the set.

If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you the very best.  If you don't celebrate Thanksgiving I still wish you the very best!

Welcome to another challenge at the Creative Knockouts.  In honor of Thanksgiving, our challenge for you is Thankful Thoughts.

Winter Is Coming

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our challenge is for you is to create a winter themed project.  Here is my inspiration project.

I used Come on Teddy and colored it with Copic markers.  I originally cut the stamp out using a die, but then I realized I colored the ground brown instead of snowy!  I fussy cut the image to get rid of all of the brown and created this sweet scene instead.

You have a chance to win Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  You don't have to use a crafty Sentiments project, but if you do, you have the chance to win even more.

I hope you will play along.

Colorful Place

Hello!  It is time for the Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post.  I have a sweet project that is quick and easy.

I used Be Yourself and colored it with Copic markers.  I cut out the image and mat using Echo Park Stitched Rectangle dies.  You can find a similar set at Rubbernecker Stamps.  The sentiment is from the Freehand Border Phrase Set.  I put a piece of scotch tape over the word "colorful" and inked the sentiment with black ink.  Then I pulled the tape off and used a marker to make the word "colorful" colorful!  I cut out the sentiment using the Nested Squares Small Stitch Die Set.  A bit of lace, a flower and tiny banners and it was done!

Don't forget to join our challenge.  You have a chance to win cash for the Rubbernecker Stamps shop.

Classy and Fabulous

Hello Rubbernecker Stamps Fans!  It is time for my feature over on the blog and I have brought this bit of inspiration for you.

This is Fern.  She was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I also used the sentiment Classy for this card.  Fern does have a matching die so you don't have to fussy cut if you don't want to!  I was digging through my bits and pieces box and found these stars that were left from a Silhouette cut and I thought they were perfect!  I love when I can use those extra bits left over that we hate to throw away!

Don't forget to check out our challenge.  You have a chance to win cash to spend in the Rubbernecker Stamps shop.

Hmmm...

This week at Creative Knockouts the challenge we bring to you is to use your favorite color combo.  I don't know about you, but mine change with the seasons.  So my project this week uses my favorite winter color combo.

This is Christmas Presents from Broken Fairy Designs.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  As I was coloring this sweet image, I realized she doesn't have anything that stands out specifically as Christmas.  This image could also make an awesome winter birthday card!  I have left a sentiment off until I decide.  I will probably use it for a birthday card because I am responsible for making cards for my co-workers' birthdays.  It will be good to have another in the stash!

You have a chance to win three images from our sponsor, Broken Fairy Designs, for playing along this week.  Click the badge below to take a look at the shop.

Welcome Baby!

Hello everyone!  It is an exciting time at Sami Stamps!  Sami has welcomed a new member into her family!  There is no new release while Sami gets to know her sweet little addition, so we are all using baby themed images from the shop.  The challenge this month is to use a sentiment.

I chose Looking at My Sweet for my project.  So precious!  I colored the image using Copic markers and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I wanted mother and child to be the center of attention, so I did a larger image with minimal embellishments.

Since the theme this month is to add a sentiment, it is so super easy to play along!  Just be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible to win a prize.

Harvest Fae

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, we have a Harvest Colors challenge for you.  One more shot at autumn before it gets cold!

I chose Fae 28 from Morgan's Art World for my project this week.  She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette to cut her out.  She has a touch of fairy dust on her wings thanks to a little clear Wink of Stella.

You have a chance to win 3 digital images from Morgan's Art World just by playing along.  You can click the badge below to pop over to the shop and have a look.
