Love and Flowers

The Crafty Gals Corner has a new challenge starting today.  The challenge is an easy one!  All you have to do is use flowers.  They could be part of the image, an embellishment, or a paper!  Bring on your flowers!

This is Mrs. Luvvy Owl from Digital Delights.  She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette to cut the oval since I had some other images on my sheet still.  The sentiment is from the Discover Words stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

We have some awesome sponsors for you this week.  You can click on the badges to pop over to each shop.

Little Polly in Pastels

This week at Crafty Sentiments our challenge is to use pastel colors.  I love the soft tones of pastels, so this is an awesome challenge for me!

This is Little Polly - Collecting Flowers.  I colored her with COPIC markers and fussy cut her.  She is mounted on a die cut doily that I bought ages ago, and found while I was looking for something else. It has a soft shimmery finish and just adds a little glamour to this card.

You have a chance to win Crafty Sentiments images by playing along. You don't have to use a Crafty sentiments image or stamp to play, but if you do and you are chosen as the winner, you win more!

Why don't you come play with us?!

Thanks for Everything

It is time for another Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday Post.  It is the day that my teamies and I all bring you some new Rubbernecker Stamps inspiration.

This week I used Teddy Bear.  This is such a sweet stamp and can be used in so many ways.  This time I used him for a thank you card.  He will have a matching die soon.  I also used the new clear set Best Friends Etc for the sentiment.  This set will also have a matching die so keep watching for that!

Check out our challenge for your chance to win a gift certificate for the store.  You can pop over to the blog for more details.

Callas Lilly Faerie

Hello MoonFlower fans!  Rae Ann here bringing you some inspiration using an older MoonFlower image.  I decided to use Callas Lilly Faerie this time.  I bought her before I joined the MoonFlower design team and I thought it was time I colored her up!

One of the hardest things for me is to decide on what colors to use.  I finally decided on the gorgeous teals in the Copic markers and got to work.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  I always color first and then design my card.  Luckily, I had some paper to match!  I used some clear Wink of Stella on her wings.  I think faeries should always have sparkly wings.

You should visit the MoonFlower blog to see what my other teamies have posted lately.  There is some remarkable talent on the team and the projects are gorgeous!

Howl of a Day

I can't believe I am typing another Rubbernecker Stamps post!  I also can't believe it is just about the middle of May either!  I do not know where the time has gone!  For my Rubbernecker Stamps post this week, I bring to you a project using the new clear Dogs 1 set and the matching dies.

I stamped this sweet pup and then colored him with Copic markers.  The sentiment and the paw print come from the Dogs 1 set as well.  I also used the Plaid Background for a contrasting pattern on the background.  I simply used some Versamark ink to get the tone on tone look.

If you haven't popped over to the blog in a while, you should take a look at everything my teamies have come up with for you to look at.  Just gorgeous!

While you are there, check out our current challenge.  You could be the lucky winner of some cash to spend in the store!

A Touch of Eden

The challenge at Creative Knockouts this week is one of my favorites!  Our challenge is to use your favorite embellishment.  I have so many favorites, but it is fun to try to put them on one card!

I used Eden Blossoms from Polkadoodles and colored her with Copic markers.  I had to use the Silhouette to cut her out since she was a touch too big for the die.  The out of the box technique is so easy with the Cameo! favorite embellishments...I think dies or ribbon...check...buttons...check...gems and pearls...check check!  So I have pretty much all of my favorite embellishments on this card.  I tried to fit a little ribbon, but I just couldn't find the spot for it.

This week, Polkadoodles is our sponsor, and you have a chance to win your choice of a gift certificate for $6.75 or 3 digital stamps.  Click the badge below to explore the shop.

Grab all of your favorite things.  We can't wait to see them!

Foxy Momma!

I had to do something new for this challenge at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  What is it you ask?  I had to use a precolored image!  I really didn't know what to do with myself!  But this image is so stinking cute!

This sweet momma fox and baby are part of the Foxy Gal combo set.  The paper is part of the set as well and it all comes from AMB Illustratons.  This pack is jam packed with awesome papers and black and white images as well as colored ones.  When I chose this image, I completely forgot about the fact that Mother's Day was coming up, but this makes such a sweet Mother's Day card.  To make it easy, I opened the file in the Silhouette software and used the Cameo to cut it out.

Our challenge is always anything goes at the Patch, so it is easy to play along.  You have a chance to win prizes from these fabulous sponsors:

More Under the Sea

It is new release time at Sami Stamps and Sami has brought you two new mermaids!  Love these so much!  Along with the new release, the new challenge is to use flowers.  Both of these images fill the challenge theme for you, so it is super easy to play along.

This sweet mermaid is Flowers Under the Sea.  Her sister is Roses Under the Sea and you can find them in the shop now.

Image may contain: drawing

I colored Flowers Under the Sea with Copic markers and used the Silhouette to cut her out because she was a hair too big for the oval die.  I cut some coral using the Silhouette as well.  I created the cut file from a picture of coral.

You have a chance to win Sami Stamps images for playing along in the challenge.  You must use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible.  Check the shop by clicking the badge below.  There is usually a freebie hanging out that you can use to join in the fun.

Come join us under the sea this month and play along.

Oh my CAS!

Hello!  Hello!  Another week has sped by and that means it is time for another new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  Our challenge to you is CAS!  Did that make you break out into a cold sweat?!  It did me!  But I took on the challenge and made it through!

I used sweet Narwhal Love from Kitty Bee Designs for my card.  My daughter loves Narwhals and her birthday is coming up.  So...shhhh...don't ruin the surprise!  A little embossing, a few pearls and BOOM! this card was done.  All that white space gives me the shivers though.  I just feel like I need to fill it up.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the silhouette.

We have three fabulous sponsors this week.  Click below to pop over and shop.

Hello!  This month at Fabrika Fantasy we have a monochrome challenge for you.  Just pick one color and stick with it!  What color will you choose?  I chose blue.

This is Air Fairy and she was colored with Copic markers.  I wanted her to have the feel of flying through the air, so I cut her out with the Silhouette Cameo and let her hang off of the die.  Then I added some clouds I cut from some gorgeous glitter paper.  These aren't actually cloud dies though! They are speech bubbles and I cut off the little tail!  They work perfectly as clouds though.

You have a chance to win some Fabrika Fantasy images.  If you have used a Fabrika Fantasy image and are chosen as the winner, you can win three images.  If you are chosen as the winner from the entries that have not used a Fabrika Fantasy image, you can win one image.  We also choose a top three voted on by the design team.  We love to see all of your gorgeous projects.  I hope you will play along with us.
