Holly Angel

It is time for a new challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  As always, the challenge is anything goes and we have prizes from some amazing sponsors.

I used Holly Angel from Ching-Chou Kuik.  I love her sweet face!  She was colored with Copic markers in a darker red and green color combo.  When I use red and green for Christmas, I tend to stay away from the brighter colors.  I cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  It makes it so easy to use the out of the box technique!  The doily is from Stampin' Up! and I have had them for so long.  They were retired ages ago.  It was nice to find a way to use one.

We have three wonderful sponsors this week.  Click the badges to pop over to each shop.

One More Halloween Hurrah!

Wow!  Can you believe Halloween is almost here?!  The challenge this week at Creative Knockouts is Halloween and it gives you one last chance to create for Halloween.  If you don't celebrate Halloween, just use Halloween colors (black, orange, purple, green, etc.)

This is Angelica's Giant Pumpkin from Inky Impressions.  She is colored with Copics.  She didn't have a Halloween vibe, so I went with Halloween colors for my card.  I love her little squirrel friend. He is so sweet to share his acorn with Angelica. =)

Inky Impressions is our sponsor this week.  You have a chance to win 3 stamps from the shop.  Click the badge below to pop over and prep your wish list!

Dream

This week we have everyone's favorite challenge theme at the Crafty Gals Corner.  Our challenge is anything goes.  We have some great sponsors this week so I hope you will play along.

I colored Lucy Loo Bookaholic from the East Wind with Copic Markers.  I colored the kitty in her hair to match another famous kitty.  Can you figure out who it is?!  I will tell you at the end of this post so you can see if you guessed right.  The book paper is actually a Silhouette printable file. I loved it because it has birds on it and she has the bird in her hair.  The sentiment was just printed on my computer using Scriptina.  Love that font!  The tiny heart punch out (on the top star) actually was a scrap left over from using the Spellbinders Star Circle dies.  I try to hold onto those tiny stars for just such an occasion.  The key charm came from a bag of goodies I found in a local thrift shop.

This week we have two wonderful sponsors.  Click the badges to pop over to the shop.

So Many Snakes!

It is my turn on the MoonFlower Digital Stamps blog to provide a bit of inspiration.  Andreia's choice for this month was Gina Medusa.  I will admit, those snakes scared me, but I conquered my fears and colored away!

I colored Gina Medusa with Copic markers.  All of those snakes and folds were a wonderful challenge.  I used a little gold Wink of Stella for her breastplates and her jewelry.  I had the idea to have the snakes stick off of the card and I love the effect it gives.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  The sentiment is also a Silhouette print and cut file.  Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the label before I cut it.  Good thing I don't mind fussy cutting. =P  I have had the scrap of green ribbon for ages but it is so wide it is hard to use.  I am so glad to have found a good use for it.

You can find Gina Medusa in the MoonFlower Digital Stamp shop now.  Don't forget to share your projects with us in the Facebook group.  We love to see them.  You can also sign up for the newsletter for a gorgeous new freebie each month.  Just pop over to the website and add your email to the list using the form at the bottom.  Be sure to confirm your subscription to finish signing up.  If you don't, you will not receive the next newsletter.

Silly Owl!

Welcome back to another challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  This week's theme is Flourishes and/or Ribbon.  I decided to use both on my project because I love both bling and ribbons.

I colored The Owl's Silly Costume from The Stamping Boutique with Copic markers.  This stamp just made me smile when I saw it!  I used a bling flourish and some vintage velvet ribbon that I have had in my stash for SO long.  I colored her bracelets with gold Wink of Stella, but it was so hard to get in the picture.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.

Let There Be Light

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be able to share this card.  I am the guest designer this week at Through the Craft Room Door after winning this challenge.  I had the opportunity to work with this gorgeous lighthouse image from Digistamps4Joy.

The lighthouse was colored with Copic markers and the background was created using Stampin' Up! Bordering Blue ink and a mask cut using an A Muse Studio die.  The light rays were sponged with Stampin' Up! Barely Banana ink and covered with a bit of clear Wink of Stella.  The image is printed on Cryogen White paper so it has a wonderful shimmer to it and the Wink of Stella really makes the rays pop.  The curlicues were created using the wire stems I cut from the mini roses.  I love when you can use every bit of a product!

I hope you will join the design team for the challenge this week.

Cupcake Inspirations has a color challenge this week so the lighthouse is going to shine some light in that challenge.

Inkspirational Challenges has a word prompt - Glow this week.  The lighthouse is going to glow in that challenge.

You Rock!

Welcome back for another Creative Knockouts challenge.  This week we are all about the metal since we are in Metal Mode!  Use some type of metal on your project.

Since we are in Metal Mode it was only appropriate to use Metal Babe from Kenny K.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I also used the Cameo to cut a mat for her.  I embossed a piece of craft sheet metal for my border. I wasn't sure how to make it work until I flipped it over.  It is blue on the "front" but this fabulous silver on the back.  Perfect!  I used gold Wink of Stella on her bracelets and armbands and clear Wink of Stella on her guitar.  I wish you could see the fabulous sparkle!

Kenny K is our generous sponsor this week.  You can click the badge to pop over to his shop to see all of his wonderful stamps.  Play along with us for your chance to win!

Witches and Ghouls and Goblins! Oh My!

Welcome to another Crafty Gals Corner challenge!  This one may have you seeing things that go bump in the night!  The theme this week is Witches, Ghouls, Goblins.  As Halloween gets closer, you wouldn't expect anything else.  Would you?!

I used Witch and Whiskers from Sami Stamps for my project.  The stamp is colored with Copic markers.  The frame is a Silhouette cut file.  I cut the stamp using the shape from the cut file so that it would fit perfectly.  If you hadn't noticed, I used paper straws as part of my embellishments.  I wish I could take credit for this fabulous idea.  I saw it somewhere online and loved the idea.  I wish I knew who it was so I could give them credit for the inspiration!  Whoever you are...thank you!!

A Little Witchy

Hello everyone!  I am back with a MoonFlower Digital Stamps project for you.  These stamps are gorgeously detailed and fun to color.

This is Gigi Little Witch and she was colored with Copic markers.  The web was cut from black glitter card stock using a Silhouette cut file.  I also cut the stamp out using the Silhouette.  It is so much easier than fussy cutting!  I added buttons, pearls, and ribbon to finish off the card.  She has Wink of Stella on her choker, as well as on the buckle and star of her hat.

You should come join us in the Facebook group for some inspiration and fun.  We have a challenge running right now with a Halloween theme.  It gives you a great reason to pop over to the shop and have a peek at the great stamps.

Dude!

Hello everyone!  It is time for the Crafty Gals Corner challenge again and this week it is Dude!  Create a masculine card!  I struggle with these, but I really like how this one came out.

This is Kenny K's Cheers Dude.  I paper pieced his shirt and colored him with Copic markers.  The plaid is a free digital paper from Granny Enchanted which made it really easy to scale for the size of the stamp.  I kept it simple with no flowers or buttons, but I did add a little brown ribbon.  I resisted the urge to add a little Wink of Stella clear glitter to the foam.  It was hard...but I managed! =P

Kenny K is our sponsor this week and you have the chance to win 3 digital stamps.  So click the badge below to be transported to his shop and check out all of the wonderful stamps he has to offer.

I look forward to seeing all of your masculine cards.

Luna

Welcome back to the new challenge for Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  As always, our challenge is anything goes, so I am looking forward to all of the fabulous projects!

We have some great sponsors this week and I had the opportunity to work with Luna from Zuri Artsy Craftsy.  I just think she is so adorable!  She is colored with Copic markers and I sponged some charcoal ink from Stampin' Up! around the edges.  The card stock was just too white with all of the dark colors.  The ink came from their distressing kit, but I am not sure they carry it any longer.  The frame and sentiment were cut using my Silhouette Cameo and cut files from the shop.  I sponged them with the same charcoal ink to give them a darker look.  The pumpkin button was too bright, so I sponged some ink on there and heat set it!

We have three fabulous sponsors this week.  You can click on the badge and pop over to check out all of the lovely shops.
