Birthday Fairy

Welcome back!  It is time for a new challenge at Creative Knockouts.  We want to feel the power!  The flower power that is!  Let's see flowers on your creations.

I used Willow the Birthday Fairy from Tiddly Inks for my project this week.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using a Silhouette Cameo.  She has clear Wink of Stella on her wings and boots and silver Wink of Stella on the package ribbon.  The die cut and layering panel are also shimmery pearl papers.  So much sparkle and shine on this one!  The background paper is from AMB Illustrations.  You get so many color ways in this pack! There are 25 versions and the pack is $.99!!

You have a chance to win a prize of a $12 gift certificate from our sponsor, Di's Digi Stamps, just for playing along this week.  You can click the badge below to check out what she has in her shop.

Thinking of You

This week our challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is CAS - clean and simple.  This is always a struggle for me.  Too much white space makes me feel like a card is not finished!

I used Purdy Butterfly from Oddball Art on my card.  She is colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a Rounded Corner Rectangle die from Rubbernecker Stamps with my rubber embossing mat in the Cuttlebug to add a subtle border to the front.  A simple sentiment stamp and it was done!  The coloring was the longest part of this entire card.

You have a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors this week.  Click the badges below to go to each shop.

Little Darling

This week at Crafty Sentiments we are celebrating new beginnings.  It may be a new baby, a new home, a new job...maybe even a new you!

I used Charles - Baby Dragon for my project.  He was colored using Copic markers.  I kept the color palette neutral because I am not sure who will be the recipient!  I don't know anyone that is having a baby right now.  I am sure I will need it in the future though.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along with us, even if you didn't use a Crafty Sentiments product.  If you did, you have a chance to win in a drawing just for projects using a Crafty Sentiments image or stamp.  Will you be crowned Crafty Sentiments Favorite?!

Your Friend

We are back from the holidays at Rubbernecker Stamps and this is my first featured project of the new year!  I hope you enjoyed your holidays and had lots of crafty time!

I used Elizabeth for my project.  I love her because I have curly hair too!  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Nested Small Stitch Oval dies.  The sentiment is from the Foxes set and was cut out and matted using the Nested Banner Stitch dies.  The plaid panel is actually something like a Project Life card.  I found a pack of them at a thrift sale with all kinds of yummy colors and designs.

Hugs

This week at Creative Knockouts we want to see stitching on your projects for our In Stitches challenge.

This is Bundle of Hearts by Crafty Sentiments.  It is one of their digital images.  The faux stitching is actually part of the image!  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I decided to make a shaped card to match and used some dies to make layers.  The Spellbinders die has stitches as well.  And last but not least, I used a canvas banner from Maya Road that also has some stitching.  I stamped the sentiment from a DeNami Design petit fours stamp set using Staz On ink.

You have a chance to win 3 images from Crafty Sentiments for playing along.  You can click the badge below to check out what they have to offer.

Always Sparkle

The new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is Make It Sparkle.  Super easy with the gorgeous glitter cardstock, glitter pens, glitter glue, and glitter gems available!

I used Singing Sally from Digital Delights for my project.  I just thought she was begging to be a sassy redhead!  I colored her with Copic markers and used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  Love how easy it is to use the "out of the box" technique on that machine!  I used some DCWV glitter cardstock for the die.  I love this cardstock because the glitter never sheds!  I also used gold Wink of Stella on the stars in her hair as well as purple Spica pen.  Lots of sparkle happening there!  A sparkly gold star button and sparkly purple gem finish off the last of the sparkle on this card.

We have lots of fabulous sponsors for you this week.  Each badge below will take you to a shop where you can check out what they have to offer.

Chocolate!

This week at Crafty Sentiments we have an anything goes challenge and a new release!  I am using one of the new release stamps for my project today.

This is Love & Chocolates.  It will be available in the shop soon.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  I love brown and pink, so that was my color palette for this sweet image.  I used an older style chipboard word from Make it Crafty.  I have hoarded these for so long, but thought this was the perfect time to use one.  I embossed it with gold embossing powder for just a bit of shine.  I also colored the ribbon on the candy box with a gold Wink of Stella pen for just a little more shimmer.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes just for playing along.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments product, but if you do, you will be entered in the drawing for the Crafty Sentiments favorite.

Hope you like the new release as much as I do!

Say Cheese!

Hello everyone!  I hope you survived the holidays and had a wonderful time with friends and family.  I am back with my project for the next challenge at Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  Every challenge is anything goes, so pop on over and play with us.

This is Snappy Sandy from Imagine That Digistamp.  I decided to try something a little different and made a shaker element from a Stampin' Up! die from the On Film die set.  It was a little fiddly to get the foam glued down in the narrow bits, but it finally worked out in the end.  I paired it with paper sfrom the Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi 2 collection that is available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  Both collections are photo themed and so much fun!

You have a chance to win a $12 gift certificate from Imagine That Digistamp just for playing along.  Click the badge below to see all of the fabulous products in the shop.

Since you have two weeks to play along, you still have time to recuperate from the holidays and get a little crafty time in!

Oh Baby!

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is Celebrations.  What will you be celebrating in the coming year?

I used Baby Oh Baby from Sparkle n Sprinkle for my card.  What a sweet image!  I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I paired it with papers and elements from the It's a Boy collection from Carta Bella available digitally from Snap Click Supply.  The papers are good for neutral baby cards even though it is called It's a Boy.

You have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to be used on the Sparkle n Sprinkle website.  Click the badge below to check out everything available.

I hope this year holds lots of celebrations for you!

Time for a Blog Hop!

Hello!  Welcome to your next stop on the Crafty Gals Corner blog hop.  We are hopping this challenge to introduce you to all of our new team mates!  Our theme is Snow Much Fun, so we want to see your snow themed projects.  You should have hopped here from Lena's blog.  I am sure she had something fabulous to show you!

I used Little Penguin Winter Bench from Bugaboo for my project.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper is from Fancy Pants Designs' Blissful Blizzard collection.  This was from a paper pad, but you can find it digitally on Snap Click Supply.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella to the ornaments and the snow.  The star was colored using a Spica glitter pen.

The next stop on your hop is Tracy's blog.  I have seen her project and can say you are in for a treat!

If you did not start at the beginning or get lost, you can always hop back to the Crafty Gals Corner and pick up where you left off.  Otherwise, the list of participants is below:
