Celebrate!

We have another new challenge starting at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  It is always anything goes and we love seeing your beautiful projects.  You may have noticed I have been making a lot of birthday cards recently.  I provide a card for each co-worker for their birthday.  That's a lot of birthdays as we have 26 people on our team.  I have to keep a supply going or I will have to scramble!

This is Girlz Celebrate from Bugaboo stamps.  That is quite the cupcake!  How would you feel about a a cupcake like that one?!  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Bugaboo is our sole sponsor this challenge.  You have a chance to win 4 images from the shop.  Go take a look by clicking the badge below.

Forever

Welcome back to my Rubbernecker Stamps feature for this week.  I am featuring one of the new clear stamp sets.

I used the Wedding stamp set and colored the stamps with Copic markers.  I stamped the dress first and then masked it using a sticky note then stamped the tuxedo.  I used teal accents because that was the color of the dresses in my wedding. =)  I cut the image out using the Nested Oval Small Stitch Dies but there is a matching die set so you could use that as well.  The stitched oval was then matted with a Nested Scallop Oval die cut from some gorgeous gold paper.  The sentiment is from the Best Friends Etc set and was stamped with gold ink.

Spring Swing

This week at Creative Knockouts, our projects take on the outdoors.  Our theme is Outdoor Fun so show us what you've got!

I used Spring Swing from our sponsor The Paper Shelter.  This sweet girl and her friend were colored with Copic markers.  I wanted to make the swing look like it was hanging from the die.  I added a touch of grass so that it didn't look like she was floating.

You have a chance to win a great prize of three images from The Paper Shelter.  They have some gorgeous designs and almost all of them come with a colored image and background paper to match.  You can click the badge below to check it out for yourself.

Lots of Ladybugs

The new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is anything goes.  I know how you all love an anything goes challenge, so I am limbering up my fingers in anticipation of all of the commenting I will be doing on your lovely projects.

I used Ladybug Stack from Bugaboo Stamps for my project.  I colored the image with Copics and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.  I bought the flower embellishments ages ago.  They are from Jolee's Boutique and are sort of flexible.  The kind of smell like crayons.  I have no idea what they are made of, but it was the perfect embellishment for this card!

We have several sponsors this week, so lots of chances to win prizes.  Click the badges below to go to each shop.

Primrose

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the challenge to you is anything goes.  It is always a favorite and I love to see the variety of projects that get entered into the challenge.

I used Primrose - Garden Flowers and colored her using Copic markers.  I added a little bit of white gel pen to her boots and gloves to add a bit of pattern.

I bought the watering can charm ages and ages ago.  I didn't have a project in mind but it was on clearance and I knew one day I would find the perfect project.  I pulled one of my colors from the can so that it would be the perfect match.  I also used some silver Wink of Stella on her watering can and planter for a great touch of shimmer.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments image to play, but if you do you have a chance to win even more great prizes!  Plus you can be entered into the Crafty Sentiments Favorite prize drawing just for projects using a Crafty Sentiments product.

Who Run the World?!

It's my turn on the Rubbernecker Blog.  Time flies when you are having fun, doesn't it!  Or when you have a lot of stuff going on!  I can't believe it is time for a new post already!

For my project this week, I used Daniella, who seems to like to shop until she drops!  I cut her out using her matching die and paired her with a sentiment that seemed perfect to me!  Right Pair of Shoes just seems to fit Daniella!  I used the Rounded Corner Rectangle with Pierce dies to cut out the sentiment and a panel to pop Daniella on.  I wonder what other goodies she has in those bags!

Don't forget to check back for more inspiration from my design teamies.  They always have something gorgeous happening.

Spring Is...Springing?

Hello!  Where I live in southern Alabama, right at the border of the Florida panhandle, spring has sprung.  The azalea bushes are in full bloom and bright patches of color are everywhere you look.  However, the temperatures have dropped back to a chilly level in the morning as I leave for work so I think spring is springing!

Our challenge at Creative Knockouts is aptly titled Spring Is On the Way.  I know there are many areas where spring has still to show its beautiful face.  But it will happen before too much longer.

I colored Pretty Hat from Broken Fairy Designs in some soft spring colors and cut her out with the Silhouette Cameo.  Some soft lace and springy background paper and she was done!

You have a chance to win a fabulous prize from our awesome sponsor Broken Fairy Designs for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out her shop.

Spring Green

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, we want you to Make it Green!  Spring green, olive green, lime green...whatever green tickles your fancy.

This is So Ready for Spring from The Paper Shelter.  Normally I color my image and then hunt for paper to match, but this time I did it the other way around.  I found this striped paper while digging through my scraps for another project.  It didn't work for my other project, but was the perfect fit for this one!  I colored her stripes to match and finished up her outfit with colors from the paper.  Maybe I should try this method more often!  This image also comes with a great background paper, but I loved the stripes so much, I just had to use them!

She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.  A little silver Wink of Stella on her belt and purse buckles adds a bit of shimmer.

You have a chance to win a prize from our fabulous sponsor, The Paper Shelter, just for playing along.  You can click the badge below to visit the shop and have a little browse.  When you are done, you will have a wish list a mile long...Just sayin'!

Bucket Full of Bunny

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our challenge theme is Easter.  I am looking forward to seeing all of the gorgeous Easter colors and images.

This is Bunny in a Bucket.  This sweet stamp was colored with Copic markers.  I used some paper straws with tulips on them to match the tulips in the stamp.  A little glitter card stock adds a bit of glitz and sparkle.

You have the chance to win great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.  You don't have to use a Crafty Sentiments product, but if you use one you can win even more!  Plus you will be entered in the drawing for the Crafty Sentiments Favorite.

Birthday Frills

Welcome back for another Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends challenge.  Our challenges are always anything goes.  This challenge, I have made a birthday card because I am running low.  We use them for my co-workers' birthdays and there are 24 people on my team.  We will be adding a couple more, so I have to try to stay ahead!

This is Emma With her Frills On from Fred, She Said Designs.  What a sweetie!  She was colored with Copic markers.  I really need to try to stock up on some masculine birthday cards too.  Those are always a struggle.  Wish me luck!

You have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to use in the Fred, She Said Designs shop.  You can find Emma and all of her friends by clicking the badge below.

Hippo Hooray!

This week for my Rubbernecker Stamps feature post, I am sharing a sneak peek of a new stamp set.  These sweet hippos will be a new clear set that will be coming soon.  You get one more hippo and some accessories and several sentiments.  Aren't they just the cutest?!

I stamped three of the hippos from the set and cut them out using the Rounded Corner Square Small Stitch dies.  They were colored using Copic markers.  I wanted them to star, so I kept it pretty simple with an embossed background and a hand cut banner with the sentiment.

Pop on over to the blog and check out our current challenge.  I am sure you wouldn't mind playing along for a chance to win some cash to spend in the shop.

Spring Has Sprung

Where I live, I was worried that we had skipped spring and rushed right into summer!  We had temperatures in the upper 70s and such terrible humidity!  This week the temperatures have dropped and the humidity has lifted.  We are able to have the windows open and it is wonderful!  I hope it is getting warmer where you are!

Our theme this month at Fabrika Fantasy is Think Spring.  I thought Peonies Fairy was the perfect image for this challenge.

I colored this sweet fairy with Copic markers and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.

You have a chance to win Fabrika Fantasy images by playing along.  You don't have to use a Fabrika Fantasy image, but if you do, you will be entered into drawing just for projects that have used a Fabrika Fantasy image.

With a Flourish

We want your projects to have a little flourish this week at Creative Knockouts.  We want to see your fun and fancy flourishes.  I can't wait to see how you interpret the challenge!

I used Spring Ladybug from Star Stampz and colored it with Copic markers.  My flourish is one of my favorite embossing folders, D'vine Swirls.  I used some Core'dination card stock and sanded off the top layer to expose the red core.  It gets a little messy, but it is so fun.

You have a chance to win 3 images from Star Stampz this week. You can click the badge below to pop over and do a little shopping.
