Love Birds

Hello!  Welcome back to the new challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  All of our challenges are anything goes so it is really easy to play along for some great prizes!

For this week's challenge, I used Love Birds by Ching-Chou Kuik.  Her designs are always so gorgeously detailed!  I also used papers by MR Designs from the In the Garden collection.  These papers are gorgeously shabby chic!  You need to check them out!  This image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.

Both Ching-Chou Kuik and Michele R Designs are the sponsors for this challenge.  You can click on the badges below to pop over to each shop to see what they have to offer.

Falling Stars

It's that time!  Time for a new challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our challenge this week is lots of layers.  We have a great sponsor for you this week as well.

This is Wish Falling Star Lil Sweetie Mia from Ching-Chou Kuik, our sponsor for this week's challenge.  She was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  In addition to layering the papers and dies, I layered up my embellishments too.  Definitely will need a special envelope for this card!  The sentiment is a Silhouette cut file that was filled and printed using the software.

The paper is a free digital download that I found ages ago on freedigitalscrapbooking.com.  I thought it was perfect for this image!  It is still free and you can find it here along with some other great freebies.

I crocheted the lace I used on this card myself.  I love how it turned out and I can't wait to make more!

You have the chance to win 2 images from the etsy store.  You can click the badge below to pop over to the shop and have a look around.

Holly Angel

It is time for a new challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  As always, the challenge is anything goes and we have prizes from some amazing sponsors.

I used Holly Angel from Ching-Chou Kuik.  I love her sweet face!  She was colored with Copic markers in a darker red and green color combo.  When I use red and green for Christmas, I tend to stay away from the brighter colors.  I cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  It makes it so easy to use the out of the box technique!  The doily is from Stampin' Up! and I have had them for so long.  They were retired ages ago.  It was nice to find a way to use one.

We have three wonderful sponsors this week.  Click the badges to pop over to each shop.

It's an Illusion!

Hello everyone!  It is time for another challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  As always it is anything goes and we have three wonderful sponsors for this challenge.

I had the amazing Blue Sea Illusion from Ching-Chou Kuik to work with.  I think these images are gorgeous, but I have not colored one until now!  They are so intimidating!  I colored her in all blue-green tones with Copics and cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The large blue gem on her forehead started out yellow, but I used a Copic marker to change the color.  I decided on an easel card.  Until recently, I had never made an easel card.  This is my  second one.  They are so easy!  Here is a close up of the bottom part of the easel.  They are a little more difficult to take pictures of.

I had a lot of fun making this project!  Our sponsors for this challenge are:
