Country Girl

Welcome to another fun challenge at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge blog.  As always, our challenge is Anything Goes.  I had the opportunity to work  with a lovely image from Karleigh Sue.

The image is Country Girl's Heart and you can find it in the Karleigh Sue shop on Etsy.  I colored it using Copics.  The plaid background paper and the paper behind the image are from Nitwit Collections.  I just love Mary Fran's fat quarter bundle digital paper.  They have the feel of quilt fabrics.  This collection is Winter Wishes and comes with a ton of wonderful elements as well as all of the gorgeous papers.  If you prefer real paper, you can find some of them in paper pads at Lily of the Valley.

I used Messy Bessy IMG 813 from My Besties for my project.  She is colored with Copics.  The background paper is from GracieEllie Design.  I printed the paper twice and cut out some of the flowers from the second one and popped them up.

Oh My Gosh!!

The other day I saw a project using a gorgeous stamp from MoonFlower Digital Stamps. I had never heard of the company so I popped over to the shop and totally fell in love with all of the images.  I found the company on Facebook and joined the group and liked the page so I could see all of the gorgeous inspiration.  Not long after, a design team call was posted.  I nervously threw my name in the hat.

I am so excited to announce that I was selected to join the MoonFlower Digital Stamps design team!  These gorgeous stamps will be so much fun to work with!  Check out the shop and I know you will fall in love like I did.

Exciting News!!

I have some exciting news!  I applied for a design team position for the Crafty Gals Corner challenge blog a few weeks ago!  I was asked to join the team!  I am so excited and will start designing on July 1st.  We are going to have a celebration blog hop, so watch this space!!

We have another wonderful anything goes challenge over at the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends challenge blog.  I decided to try something a little different for me.  Last time I did something different, it was over the top shabby chic, soooo....how about a little CAS for a change?!

This image is Texting Diva from Kenny K.  I thought she was perfect for a "keeping in touch" kind of card.  I cut an alphabet collage background using my Silhouette Cameo.  I wanted it to kind of blend into the background to keep it simple.  I always struggle with these cards.  I never feel like they are finished and always feel like something is missing.  As I write this...I still feel like something is missing!!  I guess CAS just doesn't come naturally to me!

A Little Monster

Welcome to the next Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends challenge.  As always the theme is anything goes.  I got to work with a little Bugaboo image for this challenge.  I was inspired by a card that Lou Daubney posted on Facebook.  You can see that card on her blog.

As I have wandered through the Silhouette Design Store, I have stayed away from the frames because I figured I would never use them for a card.  Well, when Lou posted her card on Facebook, I knew I had been very, very wrong!  So using Monster Rose from Bugaboo and Flourish Frame  by Tanya Batrak from the Silhouette Design Store, I created this card.  Monster Rose was colored with Copics.  Isn't he just the sweetest?

Gettin' Shabby!

This is my first official challenge post for the Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.  I am so excited!  I got to work with the wonderful Whimsy Romance pack from Michele R Designs.  There are so many gorgeous papers and elements in this pack!

I used Whimsy Romance paper #4 (it ended up mostly covered under the second layer) and insert #3.  I also used a tag, banner, and paper bow from the pack.  I cut the die using paper #2.  I love the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo.  It made using the elements even easier and everything is digital so you can scale it to whatever size works for your project.

The only thing I was missing was a stamp!  I used As You Wish from Tiddly Inks and colored it with Copics.  Fans of The Princess Bride will see the inspiration!

The challenge at Tiddly Inks is anything goes, so I am entering this in that challenge as well.
