Witches and Ghouls and Goblins! Oh My!

Welcome to another Crafty Gals Corner challenge!  This one may have you seeing things that go bump in the night!  The theme this week is Witches, Ghouls, Goblins.  As Halloween gets closer, you wouldn't expect anything else.  Would you?!

I used Witch and Whiskers from Sami Stamps for my project.  The stamp is colored with Copic markers.  The frame is a Silhouette cut file.  I cut the stamp using the shape from the cut file so that it would fit perfectly.  If you hadn't noticed, I used paper straws as part of my embellishments.  I wish I could take credit for this fabulous idea.  I saw it somewhere online and loved the idea.  I wish I knew who it was so I could give them credit for the inspiration!  Whoever you are...thank you!!

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.  You can click the badges to pop over and see all of their wonderful art.

A Little Witchy

Hello everyone!  I am back with a MoonFlower Digital Stamps project for you.  These stamps are gorgeously detailed and fun to color.

This is Gigi Little Witch and she was colored with Copic markers.  The web was cut from black glitter card stock using a Silhouette cut file.  I also cut the stamp out using the Silhouette.  It is so much easier than fussy cutting!  I added buttons, pearls, and ribbon to finish off the card.  She has Wink of Stella on her choker, as well as on the buckle and star of her hat.

You should come join us in the Facebook group for some inspiration and fun.  We have a challenge running right now with a Halloween theme.  It gives you a great reason to pop over to the shop and have a peek at the great stamps.

You can always get the newsletter freebies by signing up on the website.  The newsletter is sent the 15th of each month and is always fabulous!  Be sure to confirm your subscription.  If you skip that step, you will not be added to the list.

Dude!

Hello everyone!  It is time for the Crafty Gals Corner challenge again and this week it is Dude!  Create a masculine card!  I struggle with these, but I really like how this one came out.

This is Kenny K's Cheers Dude.  I paper pieced his shirt and colored him with Copic markers.  The plaid is a free digital paper from Granny Enchanted which made it really easy to scale for the size of the stamp.  I kept it simple with no flowers or buttons, but I did add a little brown ribbon.  I resisted the urge to add a little Wink of Stella clear glitter to the foam.  It was hard...but I managed! =P

Kenny K is our sponsor this week and you have the chance to win 3 digital stamps.  So click the badge below to be transported to his shop and check out all of the wonderful stamps he has to offer.

I look forward to seeing all of your masculine cards.

Luna

Welcome back to the new challenge for Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends.  As always, our challenge is anything goes, so I am looking forward to all of the fabulous projects!

We have some great sponsors this week and I had the opportunity to work with Luna from Zuri Artsy Craftsy.  I just think she is so adorable!  She is colored with Copic markers and I sponged some charcoal ink from Stampin' Up! around the edges.  The card stock was just too white with all of the dark colors.  The ink came from their distressing kit, but I am not sure they carry it any longer.  The frame and sentiment were cut using my Silhouette Cameo and cut files from the shop.  I sponged them with the same charcoal ink to give them a darker look.  The pumpkin button was too bright, so I sponged some ink on there and heat set it!

We have three fabulous sponsors this week.  You can click on the badge and pop over to check out all of the lovely shops.

Birthday Celebrations!

It’s birthday time!!  MoonFlower is a whole year old already and we’re blog hopping to celebrate!
It’s been an amazing year, with many incredible images drawn by Andreia, and brought to life by the very talented design team, and so we decided it would be fun to showcase some of them with a birthday blog hop.

Blogging is all about networking and sharing our love of crafts so we’d love you to play along, leave a little love on each blog you hop to and if you like what you see hit the ‘follow’ button, and we can follow you in return of course! The winners will be announced on the blogs so you don’t want to miss out as it could be you!

We are pleased to be sponsored by Donna Marie for this hop. She is an amazing colorist and has written a fabulous ebook with many hints and tips about coloring. One lucky hopper will win a copy of her book, plus 2 MoonFlower digi stamps of their choosing, and a 25% discount voucher for the store. Check out her Facebook page to see her amazing work.

Donna-Marie's Colouring ebooks

In addition to the main prize, one lucky person who has left a comment will be selected from each blog included in the hop, and will win the image that each DT member has used.  Check back on each blog to see if you are the winner.
Comments must be posted by Sunday, October 4 at 5:59 pm CDT (11:59 pm WEST) to be eligible for the drawing.

You should have popped over here from Dianne's blog.  I am sure she had some amazing inspiration for you.  For my project, I used Gypsy Flower.  She was a gorgeous freebie from the newsletter.  I fell in love as soon as I saw her!  She is now available in the shop.

She is colored with Copic markers and the frame was cut using a Silhouette store cut file.  The wire curlicues are actually the wire stems I cut off of two of the flowers.  =)  If you want to get the newsletter freebies, be sure to sign up for the newsletter on the website!  Don't forget to leave a comment on this post because you could be the lucky winner!

You will be hopping on to Winnie's blog from here.  Have a fabulous time on the rest of the hop!

If you get lost here is the list of blogs to hop to. Visit each one in turn and leave a comment to be in with a chance to win.

Autumn Leaves

I am so ready for fall!  Here in Pensacola, FL it is still so hot and humid!  The high today is supposed to be 81 degrees.  Apparently the fact that it is the beginning of October doesn't mean anything in the Florida panhandle.  To console myself, I used fabulous fall colors on my project.  Our theme this week is Lots of Layers, so I got to play with lots of colors and patterns.

The image is Stringing Autumn Leaves from our sponsor, Lemon Shortbread.  She is colored with Copic markers.  I got the idea to create a leaf garland from a card I ran across during my travels through blogland.  You can see the inspiration card on this blog.  I loved the coffee cup garland so much!  When I was designing the layout for this card, the garland popped into mind and I knew a leaf garland was a great touch.  The leaves were cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

I hope you pile on your layers and come play with us.  There is a prize of three digital stamps up for grabs.  Click on the badge below to pop over to the shop and check out all of the wonderful Lemon Shortbread stamps.

Queen of Crazy Hair

This week's challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner is Things with Wings/Mythical Creatures.  I love mythical creatures and what better sponsor to work with for this challenge than Faery Ink!

This is Gabbie Queen of Crazy Hair.  I colored her with Copic markers.  I thought she needed to have a fun color for her crazy hair. =)  She has Wink of Stella clear glitter on the insets of her wings, because all fairies should sparkle!  I added Wink of Stella gold glitter to her pendant and her crown.

Come play in our challenge for a chance to win 3 digital images from Faery Ink.  Click the badge below to hop over to the shop.  You won't stop drooling for days!!
