Lady Bird

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our challenge is Spring Is Coming.

I used Lady Bird and Butterfly for my project.  She is a digital stamp so I cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  She was colored using Copic markers.  I had a little fun making the flight trails for the lady bugs.

Tulips

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is Border Time.  Use borders on your project.

I used Tulip Bouquet from Fred She Said Designs for my project.  I thought they were perfect for a springy card.  I used a die that has a pretty hemstitch border and thought it looked like a vintage tablecloth or doily.  The lace and ribbon create a pretty border as well.

In the Clouds

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge for you is to use dies or punches on your project.

I used Balloons and Ice Cream from Star Stampz for my project.  I colored this sweet girl with Copic markers and cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  Does that count as die cut?!  The cloud topper was created using a stitched die from A Muse Studio.  This is one of my favorite dies.  I use it for clouds and for snow!  I stamped the sentiment directly on the glitter paper using StazOn ink.

You have a chance to win a fabulous prize of three images from our sponsor just for playing along.  You can click the badge below to check out her shop.

Recipe Card

We have a fun, new challenge for you at Creative Knockouts this week.  We want you to get cooking in your craft room using our recipe challenge.  Use 1 image, 1 sentiment, 2 patterned papers, and three embellishments to cook up your new project.

I used an image and sentiment from the April Showers set from Jan's Digi Stamps for my recipe card.  The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The raindrop gem is actually a petal from a flower that was broken off to make the raindrop.

You have a chance to win a $10 gift certificate from Jan's Digi Stamps just for playing along.  You can click the badge below to pop over to the shop and have a look around.

My Heart

Our next challenge at Crafty Gals Corner, is to add a heart to your creation.  It is the season of love, so what better theme?!

I used Anime Ava from Scrapper's Delight's for my project.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I used the Silhouette to cut her out originally, but made a miscalculation and had to fussy cut instead!  The glitter paper is from Dollar Tree.  This is the best glitter paper I have ever used.  It is smooth and does not shed!  If I ever find it again, I will definitely stock up on more!  The sentiment was the negative scrap from the card I made here.  It was laying on my counter as I was working on this card.  I thought it was the perfect finish!
