Hug in a Mug

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is something to say.  Add a sentiment to your project.

I used Le Pine Margaret Coffee from Mirtillamente stamps for my project.  The sentiment is a Silhouette cut file that I have had rolling around in my craft space for ages.  I printed it and it didn't fit my project, but knew it would work someday!  I colored the image with Copics and cut her out using the Silhouette Cameo as well.

You have a chance to win 2 digis of your choice for playing along.  This is a new sponsor for our team so go check out the shop and give a little love.

Do the Things

This week at Creative Knockouts or theme is for the boys.

I used Caffeinated Craig from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps for my project. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut out the image with the Silhouette Cameo.  Unfortunately, there was some technical difficulties and my image was cut incorrectly.  One of these days I will learn to cut out the image BEFORE I color it.  I am not even sure what happened.  I think the blade got stuck in the paper somehow.

I feel the sentiment on this card every morning when I get up for work.  I have to have my coffee then do the things. =P  The mesh on this card has been rolling around in my stash for SO LONG!  It is Magic Mesh from Stampin' Up! and I feel like it is so great for a card for a guy.  I only used a little for this so I will have it rolling around in my stash for a little while longer.

You have a chance to win two images just for playing along.  Click the badge below to see more.

Tic Tac Toe

This week at Creative Knockouts we have a Tic Tac Toe challenge for you.  Your project must contain items to complete at least one vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line from the table below.

I used the color blue, die cuts/punches, and ribbon or twine (lace works...I think!) and bling - glitter/sparkle/pearls, image, and die cuts/punches.

I used Umbrella Teddy from Bugaboo Stamps for my project.  I colored the sweet teddy with Copic markers and fussy cut the image.  There were so many fun accents on the image that would have been lost if I had used the Silhouette!  The background paper is from the Celebrate Spring collection from Echo Park available digitally at Snap Click Supply.  The raindrop is a petal from a rhinestone flower from the Michaels dollar bin.

You have a chance to win a $12 gift certificate for the shop just for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out everything available.

Sparkle and Shine

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is make your card sparkle and shine.

I used Lady Sierra from Star Stampz for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a product that was new to me from Queen & Co for the gold foiled pieces.  It is called Fun Foil and it only requires adhesive to add the foil to a surface.  No heat, no toner...just adhesive.  Just make sure that you put the correct side on the adhesive...not that I am speaking from experience or anything. =P  I added clear Wink of Stella to her head piece, cape, and dress embellishments.  You can't see it in the picture, but it all has a great glittery sheen.

You have a chance to win 3 images from Star Stampz for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out her shop.

Sweet Piggy

This week at Creative Knockouts our theme is lots of layers.  I used my layers to create a fun scene.

This A Piggie's Happy Place from The Paper Shelter.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  I had so much finding fun prints to make the hills and sky. This is one of my favorite ways to make lots of layers.  The Paper Shelter images also come with a background paper.  I loved the paper, but wanted to create this scene.

Sand and Sea

Welcome back to the new challenge at Creative Knockouts.  Our theme this week is super easy as it is anything goes.

I used Sand Dune Silhouettes from Artsystamper.  I printed the silhouette on some sandy brown paper and cut out the top edge to give some perspective.  I added some paper from the Bo Bunny Popsicle collection for the sea and then some sky.  I popped up one of the cloud dies, the image and the sentiment to give the card some dimension.

You have a chance to win one digi set from the shop just for playing along.  Click on the badge below to check out the shop.

With a background paper from A Lumberjack Christmas by Echo Park available digitally on Snap Click Supply, my black and red Christmas card took shape.

This month our challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is 'Tis the Season.  I can't wait to see what that means to you.

I used My Christmas Snowball from The Paper Shelter.  The background paper comes with the image so I took my color palette from the paper.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Winter Wonderland

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge is Winter Wonderland.  I was able to choose an image from my  stash to work with this week.  I was on the Meljen's Designs team for a long time and decided to pull out one of those images to work with.  Sadly, the shop is closed now, but I still love her images.

This is Marshmallow Snowman from Meljen's Designs.  I just love that smile!  He was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

You have a chance to win a $6 gift certificate from our sponsor, Di's Digital Stamps. Click the badge to visit her shop.
