Denami Design Color Challenge #5

My entry for the color challenge at the DeNami Design Blog is in the second picture.  I missed entering the last challenge.  I guess I just couldn't get my head around making a Christmas card just yet.  I procrastinated, and the next thing you know the deadline had passed.  I did the blog hop today, so I was inspired to ink up some DeNami Design stamps and get creative.  I really liked the colors in the challenge, but I had a hard time deciding where I wanted to use them.  This is what I came up with.

(I realized after posting this, that one of the colors I used did not follow the challenge.  I looked at the color dots at the top of the challenge and didn't read the posted colors down below.  I have changed this card to follow the challenge colors.  See the second picture below.)

I am sorry about the quality of the photo.  Apparently my camera is tempermental.  I stamped the Decorative Flourish in VersaMark ink to create a background.  It kind of shows in the picture.

This card has all of the same elements (I just pulled them off of the other card =P), but I think the kraft gives it a completely different look!  You can also see the VersaMark Decorative Flourish much better on the kraft cardstock.

Card measures 5.5" x 4.25"
Stamps used:  DeNami Design Decorative Flourish and the rose is DeNami Design but is retired and I don't know the name
Cricut Lacy Labels Cartridge
Stampin' Up Sizzlits Die Scribbles, Swirls
Cuttlebug embossing folder D'Vine Swirls
Ribbon from my stash
All cardstock and paper Stampin' Up

I love this card and your use of the colors. The embossed swirls and die cut swirl go great together. It's a soft look to the colors of the challenge. Congratulations on a great card.

This is beautiful, Rae Ann! I love seeing this stamp brought to new life again. You did a fabulous job with the colors- they are close enough, we aren't THAT picky. :)

Thanks for joining us in the DeNami color challenge!

Oh loveliness! Both cards are wonderful. Funny how the same design with different colors can look so different :) Really love the way the swirls look stamped on the kraft!!
