Snow Boardin'

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is to use die cuts or punches.

I used Snow Boardin' from Sheepski Designs for my project.  I colored this cute little guy with Copic markers and cut him out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a variety of landscape dies to create the hills of snow behind him.  Rather than having it completely white, I mixed in some sparkly blue glitter paper and some shiny silver paper.  It isn't mirror and is textured, but it has so much shine!  I considered using a sentiment but I couldn't decide what to use.  I think I am leaning toward winter wooshes. =P

You have a chance to win three images from Sheepski Designs for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out the other images in the shop.

Winter Wishes

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is Anything Goes.

This adorable image is Huddle from SheepSki Designs.  I decided to try my hand at making a slimline card since it is the newest trend  I thought this group of penguins would be the perfect image for my first try.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a little silver Wink of Stella on the sunglasses.  The background paper is from Echo Park Winter Wishes that is available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  My favorite part of this card is the sentiment.  It was made using a manual Dymo label maker.  You know the ones with the dial and the squeeze handle?  It had the exact look I wanted!  If you have one laying around but don't have any tape, you can also use it to emboss the letters on paper.  Just cut a strip the right size and feed it into the label maker!

You have a chance to win 3 images from our sponsor, SheepSki Designs, by playing along in our challenge.  Click the badge below to check out the images available.

Snow Fun

This month at Crafty Gals Corner, our challenge is Snow Much Fun!  We want to see your winter fun.  We don't get any snow where I live, which is fine with me!  Winter stamps and images are about as close as I want to get!  We lived in the snow and cold for a long time.  I really don't enjoy it.

I used Having Fun from Crafty Sentiments Designs for my project.  It was colored with Copic markers and some silver Wink of Stella on the bucket.  The word "snow" was die cut from glitter paper and is a bit textured like snow!

You have a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors this challenge.  Click the badges below to visit each shop.

I used Snowboarder Girl from The Paper Shelter.  She is colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I cut some snow from a white glitter and an Astrosilver cardstock.  The clouds are from the Bo Bunny Sun Kissed collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  It is one of my favorite papers to use for the sky.  The sentiment is stamped on a cloud left on a scrap of the paper.

This week at Creative Knockouts our theme is Snow Much Fun.  I can't wait to see what that means to you.

I used Snowflake Fairy from Star Stampz for my project.  One of my co-workers has a birthday in December so I thought this would make a great birthday card.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  Her hair and the snowflake have clear Wink of Stella and her bodice, shoes and hair ribbons have silver.

Jasmine

This week for my feature on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog, I pulled out Jasmine and colored her in some icy winter colors.

I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out using the matching die.  I stamped the Season of Gladness sentiment and cut it out using the stitched banners dies.  I also cut a mat of purple for the sentiment.  I also used the small stitched rectangle dies to cut a mat for the stamp.

Pop over to the blog and see what else my teamies have come up with.  You can also pop into the Facebook group to have a chat and look at all of the inspiration.

Winter Games v2.0

This week at Creative Knockouts, our theme is Snow Fun.  When I picked my image to use for this week, I didn't realize I had already chosen it for another project earlier this month.  Once I realized it, I decided to use the same layout with a different color palette to see which one I liked better.  You can find the other card here.

This is one of my favorite color combos for this time of the year.  I colored Winter Games 1 from Fabrika Fantasy with Copic markers and cut it out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper is from the Carta Bella A Very Merry Christmas collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

I have to admit, I like the other card better!  What do you think?
