Monster Birthday

This is Valentine's Monster Love - 1 by Drawn by Krista.  I merged the three adorable monsters together to create this image.  I used the Silhouette software to detach them from the background and layered them together.  This is another birthday card that will get added to the stash.  Although, I am pretty sure I know which co-worker will be receiving this one. =P

Magical Birthday

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the theme is anything goes.  We know how much you love it!  Let's see your projects!

This is Wizard Charlie.  He was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I cut the star using my Silhouette and doodled some stitches on it.  The star border is a die from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I just got it and it worked so well for this image! His wand has some clear Wink of Stella on the star and gold on the sparkles.  His robe clasp, has silver Wink of Stella.

Chocolate

It is time for my Rubbernecker Stamps feature post over on the Rubbernecker blog.  I have created a card using one of the Ethel stamps.  She is so sassy!!

I thought Ethel in Leotard matched well with the Chocolate Tastes sentiment.  I went with a cool color combo and let her stand on her own.  She was colored with Copic markers and I used her matching die to cut her out.  The banner is just hand cut.

For our new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner, we are asking to see some flowers.  It is the time of the year when it starts to get warm and all of the flowers are blooming.  We want to see all of your gorgeous flowers.

This is Spring Faery from MoonFlower Digistamps.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I made the wire embellishment and added a clear bead as an accent.  The foliage die is from the Spellbinders kit of the month for August 2017.  Every month, there is a new card kit, small die kit, and large die kit.  It is so much wonderful happy mail!

Time for the new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  This challenge this week is to use ribbon on your project.  Ribbon is one of my favorite embellishments!  I am so excited for this challenge.

I wanted the ribbon to be a major part of the design.  I chose Just for Fun for this project since she has a ribbon in her hair and on her shoes.  Then I created a ribbon detail to accent the whole thing.  I kept the sentiment and the final embellishment simple so the ribbon can be the main decorative element.  The background paper is from Nitwit Collections.   It is from the Confection fat quarter bundle.  The whole bundle is candy themed!
