Sunflower Smiles

This week at Creative Knockouts, the challenge is Outside Fun.

This sweet image is Katie and Sunflower from Laurie Furnell Ink.  The image comes with some fun extras like a sunflower sentiment border and the sweet Kit with a butterfly friend.  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The sentiment is a chippie that was purchased from Make It Crafty and colored with Copics as well.  I also used a clear Copic Spica pen to add some shimmer to the top layer.  Sadly, Zoe has closed up shop, but I loaded up on chippies before it closed.  These are a treasured part of my stash and are used sparingly!  The background paper is from the Prima Sun Kiss collection available digitally on Snap Click Supply.

You have a chance to win 2 digi sets just for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out her shop.

Always Sparkle

The new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is Make It Sparkle.  Super easy with the gorgeous glitter cardstock, glitter pens, glitter glue, and glitter gems available!

I used Singing Sally from Digital Delights for my project.  I just thought she was begging to be a sassy redhead!  I colored her with Copic markers and used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  Love how easy it is to use the "out of the box" technique on that machine!  I used some DCWV glitter cardstock for the die.  I love this cardstock because the glitter never sheds!  I also used gold Wink of Stella on the stars in her hair as well as purple Spica pen.  Lots of sparkle happening there!  A sparkly gold star button and sparkly purple gem finish off the last of the sparkle on this card.

We have lots of fabulous sponsors for you this week.  Each badge below will take you to a shop where you can check out what they have to offer.

I used Little Penguin Winter Bench from Bugaboo for my project.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper is from Fancy Pants Designs' Blissful Blizzard collection.  This was from a paper pad, but you can find it digitally on Snap Click Supply.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella to the ornaments and the snow.  The star was colored using a Spica glitter pen.

The next stop on your hop is Tracy's blog.  I have seen her project and can say you are in for a treat!

Twinkle

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the theme is anything goes.

I am still working on my stash of birthday cards for my co-workers.  I am a little bit ahead of the game thankfully!  I thought this sweet Twinkle Fairy made a great birthday card.  The sentiment is computer generated.  Blue is my co-worker's favorite color, so I think this turned out perfectly.

Magical Birthday

This week at Crafty Sentiments, the theme is anything goes.  We know how much you love it!  Let's see your projects!

This is Wizard Charlie.  He was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I cut the star using my Silhouette and doodled some stitches on it.  The star border is a die from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I just got it and it worked so well for this image! His wand has some clear Wink of Stella on the star and gold on the sparkles.  His robe clasp, has silver Wink of Stella.

You have a chance to win some great prizes for playing along.

Hope to see you there!

Merry Christmoose!

Can you believe we have already finished this week?!  And since it is Friday, it is time for my feature over on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog and I chose this stamp for my project

This is Moose With Lights and he has been colored with Copic Markers.  I cut him out using a stitched rectangle frame like this one in the shop.  He also has a matching die for quick and easy fussy cutting.  The lights were colored with Spica pens for some great sparkle.

Our challenges will start up again after the holidays.  Be sure to check back to see what theme we start the year with.

Pixie Dust

Wow!  I cannot believe how quickly the days are passing!  It is time for another Rubbernecker Stamps feature post.

This week, I used Aby again because I got this awesome Pixie Dust sentiment to go with her and I couldn't wait to use it!  She was colored using Copic markers and fussy cut.  One day I will take the time to learn how to use my mat to cut out my rubber stamps with my Silhouette.  Until then, fussy cutting it is!  I used a Copic Spica pen on her wand and clear Wink of Stella on her wings.

Did you know we have a challenge at Rubbernecker Stamps now?  Did you also know you could win some cash to spend in the shop on sweet stamps like Aby?  We do and you can!  Pop over to the blog to see the current theme and play along.  You don't have to use Rubbernecker products to play, but we love to see what you do with them if you have them.

Finally!

I have admired Jeremiah Kentner digital stamps for a very long time.  However, I have never gotten around to actually adding any to my collection.  I see them and tell myself, "Self, you have got to get some of those!"  Then, I never seem to actually do it.  Lucky for me, Crafts and Me is our sponsor for this Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends challenge!  I finally got a chance to color this gorgeous digital stamp!

This is Spirals.  This was the first digital stamp of Jeremiah Kentner's that I ever saw.  He has so many gorgeous image.  Pop on over to Crafts and Me to check them all out.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used the Silhouette to cut it out.  I used a Spica pen on the spiral to give it some gorgeous sparkle.

You have a chance to win a prize from each of our fabulous sponsors.  You can see the details below and click on the badge to check out the shop.

A Sleeping Beauty

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, the challenge is three or more layers.  I got to use this awesome MoonFlower image for my project.

This is Sleeping Rose Fairytale and she was colored with Copic markers.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  I found these awesome Cuttlebug Embossables on sale and bought several packs.  They are easy to emboss and add such a great shine to a project.  I used a gold Copic Spica pen on her crown and silver Wink of Stella on the trim of her dress.  They add such great shimmer and shine!

MoonFlower is our sole sponsor this week and the prize is a $10 gift certificate for the shop.  If you click the badge below, you can pop over and check out all of the gorgeous digital stamps Andreia has.  I suggest you check out the new Lilly line!  They are so amazing!

Eek!

It's Friday!  Woo hoo!  I love Fridays!  Not only do I get to wear jeans to work, but since it is the third Friday that means there is a new release at Sami Stamps!  You are going to love these!

Aren't they just the cutest spooks you ever saw?!  They are available now so run on over and snap them up!  Halloween is just around the corner and these are perfect for your Halloween projects.

I used Patchwork Zombie for my project.  I thought he should be truly patchwork, so I paper pieced him using different patterned papers.  I used some Halloween colors but also threw in the sweet floral just to keep him super adorable!  I did color the hat, eyes, and flower with Copic markers.  I went over his stitches with a black Spica pen so he has a little glitter. =) I also used Copic markers to...umm..."antique" my flower.  It started life as a plain cream colored rose bud.  The sentiment is from the Qwick Qwips set from Paper Smooches.

There is still time to join us for the Texture challenge over on the blog.  Just remember to use a Sami Stamps image if you join us.  There are so many wonderful images to choose from!  The winner receives a $12 gift certificate for the shop and second place gets $8!

If you are on Facebook, you should stop by the Sami Stamps group.  It is a fun place to share everything Sami Stamps!  We would love to see your projects!  Hope to see you there.

I used the adorable Gello Giraffe Starry Night from Kitty Bee Designs for this project.  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  The sentiment is also a Silhouette cut file that was printed instead of cut.  The papers are all from the Carta Bella It's a Boy collection that is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.
