Walkies

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge is Embossing Delights.  Use some type of embossing on your project.

I used Walkies from SheepSki Designs for my project.  Love this gnome walking his caterpillar!  The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  Looking at it now, I wish I had cut out the extra white.  I used different embossing folders to create the scene for these two.

You have a chance to win 3 images from our sponsor, SheepSki Designs for playing along.  Click the badge to check out the shop.

Hugs

This week at Creative Knockouts we want to see stitching on your projects for our In Stitches challenge.

This is Bundle of Hearts by Crafty Sentiments.  It is one of their digital images.  The faux stitching is actually part of the image!  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I decided to make a shaped card to match and used some dies to make layers.  The Spellbinders die has stitches as well.  And last but not least, I used a canvas banner from Maya Road that also has some stitching.  I stamped the sentiment from a DeNami Design petit fours stamp set using Staz On ink.

You have a chance to win 3 images from Crafty Sentiments for playing along.  You can click the badge below to check out what they have to offer.

Apple Tree

This week at Crafty Sentiments, our challenge is anything goes.  I decided to go with a fall color scheme and image because fall is my favorite time of the year.  Unfortunately, where I live now, fall doesn't really happen, so I have to look at the fall colors in my craft room.

This is Isobel - Apple Tree and she was colored using Copic markers.  The background paper is from Bo Bunny Apple Cider which is available digitally on Snap Click Supply.  I used the Stitched Banner dies from Rubbernecker Stamps for the sentiment.  It was one stamp, but I stamped each separately.

You have a chance to win some great Crafty Sentiments prizes for playing along.

I hope to see you there!

Before Coffee

Welcome to another Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday Post.  I went monochromatic with my project this week.

I used Coffee & Tea Inchies for my focus images and stamped the Coffee Bean Background on half of my card.  I layered up the images to give them some weight and then stamped the But Not Always sentiment directly on the card.  A few black gems and it was done!

Don't forget to play along in the challenge for your chance to win some Rubbernecker Stamps cash to use in the shop.

Lots of Layers

Welcome to another challenge at Creative Knockouts.  This week the challenge is Lots of Layers.  I seem to be able to pile on the layers except for when it is the challenge theme.  But after a lot of indecision, I am pretty happy with the outcome.  I am pretty sure it fits the theme too. =P

This little sweetheart is Emmi Loo - A Poppy for You from Crafty Sentiments.  She is actually a digital image, so you can have instant gratification if you buy her. =)  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhoutte Cameo.

Crafty Sentiments is our sole sponsor this week and you have a chance at a prize of 3 images for playing along.  Click the badge below to check out all of the digital and rubber stamps Crafty Sentiments offers.

Magical Birthday

This week at Creative Knockouts, we have a for the boys challenge theme.  I have had to do several of these lately, so I am starting to get over the stress of having to make masculine cards.

This is Wizz Doodles from Dr.Digi.  I colored him with Copic markers and his magic was colored with Copic Spica pens.  They have so much more sparkle in real life.  The area around his hands also has clear Wink of Stella for some extra sparkle.  I created the sentiment using the Silhouette Design software.  It is hard to see in the picture, but the word "magical" is filled with a star pattern.

You have the chance to win 2 digital images for playing along.  The shop has so many great characters in it.  Click the badge below to pop over and say hi.

Garden of Thanks

Wow!  I cannot believe it is time for another Rubbernecker Stamps post!  It feels like I just did this yesterday!  If you have been on the Rubbernecker Stamps site, you may have noticed a link that shows clear stamps.  That's right!  Rubbernecker Stamps will be releasing clear stamps in the very near future!  I have had the pleasure of testing some of the stamp sets.  The one I used below will be set #3021 when it is released.  The sets should be available around the middle of the month.

I stamped the foliage using a white craft ink pad.  These stamped like a dream!  Craft ink is always tough to clean up, but these stamps were so easy to clean! I just ran them under the water and let them dry.  Once they were dry they were ready to cling to the block again.  The sentiment comes from the new clear set #3002.  All of these new stamp sets will have matching dies.  Isn't that awesome?!  I can't wait to see what stamps will come next!

Don't forget our challenge happening here on the blog.  You have a chance to win some cash to spend in the shop!  Just in time for the new clear stamps!

My teamies have featured some of the other new clear sets that will be coming.  Be sure to pop over to the blog and check out what they have for you.

See you on Sunday!

Coffee & Friends

Hello Rubbernecker fans!  Today is my turn to be featured on the Rubbernecker blog and I created this fun coffee card using some coffee themed stamps from the shop.  I do love my coffee!

I used Coffee & Tea Inchies to create the top half of the background and also the main image.  I drew in a table so it looked like friends were having coffee together.  I stamped the bottom half of the card using the Coffee Bean Background.  The perfect companion for these inchies!

We have started a challenge at Rubbernecker stamps and you have the chance to win Rubbernecker cash to be used in the shop for playing along.  I really hope you will join us.  See the blog post for more information.

Friendship

Welcome back Rubbernecker fans.  I hope you survived your holidays and you had a wonderful time with friends and family.  Our daughter wasn't able to be with us for Christmas for the first time in her life, but we were able to take advantage of technology and opened presents with her over a video call.  =)

I had a completely different color combo in mind for this.  I was going to go with white on plum, but the embossing powder I bought, labeled snow, was silver when heated!!  I am not sure where that snow is located, but it certainly wasn't what I had in mind.   Luckily, I bought another embossing powder while I was at the store and this color combo came to be.  Wild Garden Frame was wet embossed with champagne embossing powder.  The sentiment came from the Garden Silhouette stamp set.  The one I used has been retired, but you can find another version here.

Rubbernecker Stamps will start doing challenges soon.  Be sure to check back on the blog for more information.  You will have the chance to win Rubbernecker Stamps prizes!  I am sure you will be excited!

Warm Hands...

This week at Creative Knockouts we have an anything goes challenge for you.  A great way to get back into the swing of things after the holidays.  When I am chilly, I love to warm my hands on a good cup of coffee! So using Warm Hands Warm Heart by All Dressed Up Stamps makes sense!

I also love using pink and brown together!  This little cutie was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

This week All Dressed Up Stamps is our sponsor and you have a chance to win 2 images from the shop.  Just click on the badge below to start your wish list.

Sending Smiles

Welcome back for another Rubbernecker Blog post.  I am having so much fun playing with rubber stamps again.  Don't get me wrong, I still love my digis for so many reasons, but it is good to get inky once in a while.

For this project, I thought I would create something a little sunny.  Pretty soon the days are going to turn cold and dreary.  In your part of the world that may have happened already!  I will have plenty of winter projects coming up, but I just felt like one more sunny project would be awesome.

This is Clare and she was colored with Copic markers.  She just seems so happy!  I used a wooden word sentiment that I found on clearance in the impulse bins at the craft store.  I bought a bunch!  You can always find a way to use them!  As my hubby always says..."It will turn up in something!"

If you popped over from the Rubbernecker blog, thank you so much for visiting.  If you are a follower and are seeing this post directly from my blog, pop over to the Rubbernecker blog.  You won't regret it!  Well...your pocket book might!

Christmas Is on the Way!

It is time for a new challenge at the Fabrika Fantasy challenge blog.  This month the theme is Christmas Is Coming.  It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, but it definitely is!  Time to get those Christmas cards cranking!

I chose to work with Young Deer and I colored the image with Copics to look like Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  You can't get more Christmas than that!  I cut the words with a die and then ran clear Wink of Stella over them and the deer's nose for some holiday sparkle.

If you use a Fabrika Fantasy image, you could win 3 images of your choice.  If you don't, you have the chance to win one image.  You also could win the honor of being chosen in the top 3 and get a badge to display on your blog.  It is time to get working on those cards. so why not join us in the challenge?

Lots of Pink!

This month at the Corrosive Challenge, we a busting out the pink.  October is breast cancer awareness month, and that is when everyone thinks pink.  So we are basing our challenge on that theme.

This is Ribbons Label by Alicia Bel.  I wanted this project to have a ribbon theme, but not necessarily be an awareness ribbon.  That way, I can use it for anything.  I had originally had the idea to make a pink themed Halloween card, but she was way too cute to color as a mummy! =P  She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out.  I could have used a die, but since I print four to a page, it makes it easier so I don't have to cut the page apart.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.  The badges are linked to each shop, so go have some fun!
