The End of the Rainbow

Welcome to my Rubbernecker Stamps Sweet Sunday post.  This week I used the Candle Set. It was so easy to create this card because I used the matching die as well.  The die will be available in the shop soon!

When I got this rubber stamp, I cut the candles apart so I could use them as individual stamps.  I felt the set would be really versatile that way.  For this project, I stamped each candle enough times so I could make a rainbow.  Since I needed 7 candles, the heart candle got used a third time, because a birthday card should be full of love.  I colored each candle with Copic markers using the colors of the rainbow and used the die to cut them apart.  Even though the die is one piece and I had cut the candles apart, it was still really easy to use the die to cut these out.  It's hard to see, but I popped them up with a little bit of fun foam for some dimension and attached them in rainbow color order.  The sentiment is from the new Best Friends Etc clear set.  It is quickly becoming my go to sentiment set.  I love the font and there are so many fabulous phrases. Since they are clear, you can even bend them if you want to stamp them in something other than a straight line.  I use a Copic Spica pen to draw the stitches.  It adds just a touch of sparkle to this card.

Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the Sweet Sunday project from the team.  They are fabulous!  If you are up to a challenge, pop over and check out the current challenge while you are visiting the blog.  You have a chance to win a gift certificate in the shop for playing along.
