We have another new release for you at Crafty Sentiments. I have made a project with one of the new release images, No 1 Dad. You will be able to find him in the shop soon.
I always color first and then look for paper. This can be a problem sometimes because it can take me a while to find paper I want to use. Luckily, I found this paper in a stack from DCWV called Weekend Neutrals. It had exactly the tones I was looking for. This sweet boy was colored with Copic markers. How nice of him to bring the newspaper and coffee!
This is also the start of the new challenge. This week the theme is to add flowers. I hope you will play along!

Always Sparkle
The new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner is Make It Sparkle. Super easy with the gorgeous glitter cardstock, glitter pens, glitter glue, and glitter gems available!
I used Singing Sally from Digital Delights for my project. I just thought she was begging to be a sassy redhead! I colored her with Copic markers and used the Silhouette Cameo to cut her out. Love how easy it is to use the "out of the box" technique on that machine! I used some DCWV glitter cardstock for the die. I love this cardstock because the glitter never sheds! I also used gold Wink of Stella on the stars in her hair as well as purple Spica pen. Lots of sparkle happening there! A sparkly gold star button and sparkly purple gem finish off the last of the sparkle on this card.
We have lots of fabulous sponsors for you this week. Each badge below will take you to a shop where you can check out what they have to offer.

Queen for a Day
Hello MoonFlower fans! Rae Ann here with your dose of MoonFlower inspiration. For my project I used Gigi Queen. I thought she looked like a fun challenge.
I loved the idea of a black and gold color palette for Gigi Queen. Then I decided to throw a pop of teal in there for an accent. She was colored with Copic markers and I cut her out using the Silhouette. Her cape was colored with Copics first and then covered with gold Wink of Stella. Her crown and belt also have gold Wink of Stella. I added some teal embellishments and a gorgeous glass crystal pendant that I found at a yard sale. I wanted an elegant background paper and I found this awesome embossed paper in the DCWV Bella Armoire stack in my stash.

Silver and Gold
Hello and welcome to the last Corrosive Challenge post for 2016! Seems crazy to think about it!
This challenge is Silver and Gold Christmas.
I used Merry Christmas from Mari Digis for my project. She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette. She has gold and silver Wink of Stella on her Christmas tree. I have also used a doily cut from gold mirrored card stock. It is SO shiny in real life, but was horrible to try and photograph. You can see some of the reflection when you enlarge the picture. I also brushed some gold Wink of Stella across the petals of a white flower. It add just a touch of sparkle and shine and helps to tie it all together.
We have two wonderful sponsors for this last challenge for the year. You can click the badges below to pop over to check out everything available in the shops.

'Tis the Season
Wow! Another Thursday and this one is Thanksgiving! I cannot believe how this year has flown by, especially since going back to work! Our challenge at Creative Knockouts for you this week is 'Tis the Season. Make a seasonal project to enter the challenge. I decided to go with the holiday season and made a Christmas card.
I don't know about you but I love non-traditional Christmas colors. Especially this color combo and I had the perfect paper pad from DCWV to do it! It is even called 'Tis the Season! I love the embossed touches with glitter in this stack. I colored Maizy Elf from Digital Delights with Copic markers and cut her out using the Silhouette to pop her on my card.
Digital Delights is our sponsor this week and there are so many adorable images in the shop. Click the badge below to check them out.
