Greetings!

I know I say it a lot, but I can't believe it is Wednesday again!  Since I have gone back to work, the weeks fly by!  But since it really is Wednesday again, that means it is time for the new challenge at the Crafty Gals Corner.  This week the theme is to use a sentiment.

This week I colored up Suzy Boo Beach Girl from Lacy Sunshine.  Look at those big eyes!  I used Copics to color her.  I kind of thought she looked like she was posing for a picture, so I made a "polaroid" frame by cutting a long rectangle.  The word is the second half of "seasons greetings".  Hopefully some day I will find a way to use seasons!

Lacy Sunshine is our sole sponsor this week.  You have the chance to win 3 digital images from the shop.  You can click the badge below to pop over and take a peek.

Why not play along before another Wednesday comes and goes and we start another new challenge!

Autumn Dreaming

This month at the Corrosive Challenge, we have an autumn theme for you.  Use autumn images, colors, or embellishments to play along.

This is Air Dreamer from PPinky Dolls.  She looks like she is missing someone who is far away.  Her melancholy look makes her that much more adorable!  I used autumn colors and embellishments for this little lady.  She was colored with Copics and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

This month we have some fabulous sponsors.  You have a chance to win some fabulous prizes and you have all month to play along!

Acorns in Autumn

As I sit here writing this blog post, I can hear acorns thumping on my roof.  It seems very appropriate that I chose the image I did for this month's challenge at Sami Stamps!

We are using some oldies but goodies at Sami Stamps this week and I chose Acorn in My Hand for my project.  I just thought these two were the sweetest!  I colored them with Copics and used the Silhouette to cut them out.  I could have used a die since it was a simple oval, but since I printed more on the page, I didn't want to slice it up to make it fit in the machine!  Her wings have clear Wink of Stella and a touch of silver as well.  I grabbed the silver pen and without looking started coloring!  I decided I kind of liked it and went with it!

It would be wonderful to see your projects in the challenge this month.  Just be sure to use a Sami Stamps image to play along so you will be eligible for the prizes.

Anything But a Card?!

Anything but a card.  Every time I hear those words, I break out into a cold sweat!  Masculine cards are bad, but this is much, much worse.  That is our challenge to you this week at the Crafty Gals Corner...Anything But a Card...I wish you luck!

I used an empty cigar box and altered it into a lovely gift package.  I used A Gift for You from the Twiggy and Toots collection from Polkadoodles.  It was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  I started decorating the box before I took a picture, but luckily, it was double sided!

This is what the box looked like when I started.  Not the best color combo, I would say.  But the rope handles were so awesome and it opens in the middle (you can see the split), so a very unique type of box.

We have three fabulous sponsors for you this week.  Click the badges to pop over and wander through the awesome products on offer.

This is one of the new release stamps this week, Charles - Having a Little Snooze.  Isn't he just the sweetest?!  He was colored with Copic markers and cut out by hand.  It wasn't intentional, but he looks like he is sleeping on a cloud. =)

Christmas Is on the Way!

It is time for a new challenge at the Fabrika Fantasy challenge blog.  This month the theme is Christmas Is Coming.  It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, but it definitely is!  Time to get those Christmas cards cranking!

I chose to work with Young Deer and I colored the image with Copics to look like Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  You can't get more Christmas than that!  I cut the words with a die and then ran clear Wink of Stella over them and the deer's nose for some holiday sparkle.

If you use a Fabrika Fantasy image, you could win 3 images of your choice.  If you don't, you have the chance to win one image.  You also could win the honor of being chosen in the top 3 and get a badge to display on your blog.  It is time to get working on those cards. so why not join us in the challenge?
